Good morning and happy new year! I hope all my fur customers and fur babies had a wonderful holiday, just as we did.

I want to start the year by addressing some important things. Firstly, I want to let you know that I was closed during the holidays. If you didn't get a return message or call, that's why. I feel it was inappropriate to continuously call and text me while I was spending important time with my family. In my last message, I mentioned the changes in my schedule, and I said that I would only answer messages through the dog appointment number when I opened it. Please note that I will not respond to any messages outside my work hours. Every customer has access to their pet portals, which are available at the bottom of every appointment message. You need to sign up and start using them. I will not be going back and responding to appointment messages anymore. You get reminders, and those reminders tell you what services you are scheduled for.

Secondly, we had people who were scheduled to come in but canceled at the last minute. I understand that pets and people get sick, but for those of you who simply forgot you were going to be out of town, the cancellation fees apply to your appointments. Those with sick pets will need to have them cleared by the vet before rescheduling. With this dog virus going around, I must protect all customers' pets. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. If your pet comes with illness, and you don't let me know, you will need to find a new groomer. I will not endanger other people's pets.

If you miss your appointment, the cost of your grooming will be more if the pet's coat is not kept brushed out. I will cut it short, and there will be no de-matting.

Lastly, I have customers who I haven't received the payments for their grooming appointments yet, I will cancel your next appointments until the bills are paid. If this continues, I will have no choice but to go to prepaid appointments or stop taking electronic payments it will be cash or check only if it continues. I understand we get busy but when it's 3, 4, 5, and 6 weeks later it's a problem

Hello Happy Pet customers,

Good evening, This is Jessica's new office manager, Kaitlyn. Nice to meet everyone. I am reaching out tonight as well as tomorrow to everyone personally.

On October 18th, Jessica will no longer offer mobile grooming appointments. I will be sending out new appointment dates and times for you to come to Jessica on Johns Island. If you will no longer be continuing services for your pets due to the change, please let me know as I'm making the new scheduled appointments. They will be given Wednesday-Friday & every other Sunday right now only for you to come to her for grooming at the shop, more days will be added later, come the New Year all appointments will be given Monday-Friday, weekends will no longer be offered . If you prefer a certain day or time, please reach out ASAP as this weekend I will start making the schedule changes.

Also as said before, Jessica will be closed during school holiday closures as well. The week of Thanksgiving 22-26th and December scheduled closure 23rd -January 1st and will reopen January 2nd. So make sure to schedule your pets before the holidays if you are not on a pre booked rotation.

I want to make sure all the customers know the current prices as she has raised prices and people are not paying the right amount.

Going forward, if you cancel your appointment please expect a longer wait time. She had already mentioned her son was starting school so this will affect getting back on schedule quickly! If you don't show or cancel within 48hrs of your scheduled appointments, please note I will be charging the no-show/late cancelation fees, and until they are paid you will NOT be rescheduled.

Also, all customers must maintain appointments of 8 weeks or less. If not, unfortunately she will no longer be able to service you.

Going forward all communication will be through our appointment app only. If you previously communicated with Jessica by text to the 5200 number it will no longer be available. Any calls or messages to that number will not be returned or responded to.

Dear Happy Pet customers,

We have some announcements we need to share with you about this up coming school year. As most of you know, I do have a little one who will be attending a 4k program. This year as of right now, he will attend a school thats in West Ashley. Due to the location of the school there will be adjustments and changes to the schedule. They are as followed:
The boys will work from 7 am until 9am. These time slots will be for anyone who is just wash or pets they can do without me. I will only do haircuts appointments from 9:15 am - about 2:45 pm as i will need to pick him up at 330 pm. This will allow time to get to him. Then the boys will restart work 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Below will be the schedule Monday to Friday:
Monday: West Ashley mobile
Tuesday: James Island
Wednesday: Johns Island
Thursday and Friday : My House
Sunday : 1 sunday a month at my house

Customers i see 4 weeks or less will have priority bookings in my time slots for mobile appointments. If the schedules become to crazy to maintain this school year then i will change schedule again to only do grooming out of my place.

Also those who do shop grooming and are constantly late you will need to reschedule going forward. Those who don't pick up before i need to leave will wait till 530pm to get your pets back and there will be a late pick up fee.

I also need to adress the arrival window for the mobile customers we can show early or late i do my best to notify you going forward if your not available during my window i will no longer wait you will need to reschedule.

These changes are only for the 2023-2024 school year. Next year, 2024-2025, he will be in a school closer to home and it will be a easier situation getting him there.

Those who are able to help us out and move their grooming to shop grooming, please let us know and we will adjust your time slots/schedule as needed.

Attached is the following school holidays i will be closed:
Thanksgiving Break: Nov 22 to Nov 24
Christmas Break: Dec 18 until January 1
Spring Break: April 1 to April 5

I will add dates as needed for other days/vacations that I will be taking as needed! You will receive notice.
