👂Ear infections can sneak up fast— especially if you have a floppy-eared breed.

Due to the shape of their floppy ears, moisture and debris can get trapped inside the ear canal, creating an environment where bacteria and yeast can thrive. This can ultimately lead to infections.

How can you tell when your pup has an ear infection? Watch for head shaking, odor or scratching! To stay on top of it, routine cleanings and checkups with our team can catch an infection before it gets worse!

Even though your dog might love what you're eating — and giving you those eyes for more... be careful!

Certain human foods can upset your pet's digestive system and even be toxic to animals. 🍗🚫

We‘d recommend sticking to pet treats and food for a healthy tummy, just to be safe!

It’s time for our pups to enjoy the great outdoors!

Today, we want to debunk a common myth... that when dogs eat grass, it‘s because they‘re feeling sick.

So if you find your furry friend chewing away, it could be because of many different things - they like the taste, they need more fiber to help with digestion or they‘re following their natural instincts. Remember, dogs are natural scavengers and foragers!

If you find your pup grass-eating and want to know why, a visit with us can help solve any mysteries! With routine check-ups, we can help detect any health issues early, and also provide valuable insights into your dog’s nutrition and overall wellbeing - so they can always spring into action!

And after all that outdoor fun, remember to check for ticks and wipe those paws! Here’s to sunny days filled with wagging tails, grassy adventures, and healthy pups!

🌿 Gardening or sprucing up your yard this summer? Here‘s how you can keep your outdoor space pet-friendly —

Research and avoid toxic plants - this means both outdoors and inside your house!

Keep your garden hazard-free - keep an eye out for sharp objects lying around or broken fences.

Use pet-safe materials - opt for pet-friendly mulch like wood chips instead of something like rubber mulch, which can be potentially harmful for your pets if swallowed. You can also choose organic fertilizers and pesticides... just in case your furry friends come sniffing!

And when in doubt... install a fence! If you can‘t guarantee a 100 percent safe place for your pets, think about putting up barriers to prevent wandering and roaming.

Happy planting!
