Notice: The fourth bridge on the east side of the loop is damaged and unsafe for use. ODF is assessing the situation and this morning was working on a ride-around. This is the bridge at the top of the railroad grade. Notices are posted at the Diane Berry Trailhead.

It looks like summer has finally arrived in the PNW! With the warmer temperatures the trails should be drying out. If you plan on camping at Northrup be sure to make your reservations. If you are planning a day ride there is no day use fee ! As always, be sure to RIDE SAFE!

A fun little training area was added in 2019..when not out on the trail practice with your horse on bridges, gates, etc. Thanks again to Mark Standley for his help and equipment to get this done.

Good News! We've just received word from the Oregon Department of Forestry that Northrup Creek Horse Camp will open for camping on July 24th.

Northrup Creek Horse Camp closes for the season soon..right after the end of Elk Season. Be sure and check with Oregon Department of Forestry or online at Recreation.Gov for more information before heading up there. Camp reopens the middle of May.

Need a place to horse camp for the week of the 4th... I just checked www.reserveamerica.com and there is still one of the horse sites available for next week #2 - which is a 2 horse is open. Other sites are available on one side or the other of the 4th - so go early or go after the 4th. As you know - a great camp and great trail!
