Just in time for the holidays! Turkey, Gravy, and Mashed Potatoes are looking for new homes. They are able to eat soft food, but are still too young to be left outside alone. Indoor homes are preferred.

We have decided to share a little knowledge on the different jobs between a Veterinary Technician and a Veterinary Assistant!🧠
First ☝️ Lets go over a couple of the things Veterinary assistants can do
* Assist with restraining animals 💪
*Gather medical histories 👩‍🏫
* Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures🔪
*Client Communication📞
How do you become a Veterinary Assistant?
* Most assistants are trained on the job, but there are certifications that you can get 👩‍🔧
Now lets go over a few of the things a Veterinary Technician can do 👩‍🏫
* Perform an initial examination of the animal🔎
*Performing laboratory procedures and x-rays🔬
*Monitor anesthesia 😴
*Perform dental cleanings 😷
How do you become a Veterinary Technician?
*Receiving a degree from an accredited college is a must 👩‍🔬
*Passing the State and National exam are a must to become credentialed. 🏆
What are some similarities between the two? 👯‍♂
* Both are important assets to a successfully ran clinic 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️
*One is not more important than the other, they can just perform different tasks 👯‍♀️
* Both need compassion and love for the veterinary field 😻
