Ruthie Update!! 🥰🐕❤️

So this sweet girl is a hot mess! 😂 So let's start with her foot. 2 broken toes on each side of her foot. Infection causing the swelling, which is causing her toes to spread wide. We don't want bones to heal that way, so new antibiotic, pain meds and wrapped the foot. She needs to go back about every 3-4 days to check the swelling, the Infection and re-wrap the foot tighter as the swelling subsides... so, several visits! Let's move on to her ears.. double ear infection! Cleaned and packed with medicine. Next is her poop...Hook & Whip worms! but we just finished a 3 day course of panacur so will recheck in 2 weeks. And lastly... Heartworm positive...😔 Negative for tick diseases though! 🤷‍♀️ Unfortunately with everything going on with her foot, Doxycycline to start the Heartworm treatment is on hold while we get her foot healed, as well as her spay. Obviously, her vet bills will be more than our $350 adoption fee. So we are asking for donations for her care. You can pay River Run directly at 804-794-4105. Lastly, we need a Foster-To-Adopt home for her while she goes through all this stuff. Someone who is home or works from home. Not too far from River Run Animal Hospital. They are open evenings and weekends!!.. I'm having total hip replacement on 9/11/26. So I do need her settled in somewhere before then. New girl! Meet Ruthie! She is 19 lbs of ears! 😂 She is very timid, but very sweet.. she has a couple of broken toes on her back left foot. She is fascinated by the TV! She is settling in with me for now. Vet appt on Friday to get a second opinion by our vets at River Run Animal Hospital . She is very thin and several scrapes & scratches everywhere. The shelter has her on antibiotics and pain meds. She's about 1.5- 2 yrs old. More info and updates after her vet visit!

Little Kane from our World Cup Pups is still waiting patiently for his family... he is a sweet & friendly boy. He definitely needs another doggy playmate and fenced yard. He is 12 weeks old and still working on potty training. He is very active and playful!! Another playful doggy companion will really help with his puppy energy! Walker showed up here at my front porch in June of last year. Pouring rain! Scared, injuries to his legs and recent scars on his face. He asked for help, so I did just that. The shelter was full. On 9/1/25, we took ownership. Did all his vetting and let him get used to us. He adapted quickly to the routine at the rescue, but was still a bit timid with people. He did great with other dogs! Slowly he became more open to petting and now he loves being loved on! He loves comfy blankets, is crate trained and has not messed in his crate for 8 mos. now. He is sweet, gentle & kind. He's about 4 yrs old. 55 lbs. He has scars from his past, but that is behind him now. We would love to see him in a FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME! So he can get used to living in a home. All the luxuries and noises a home has. Dishwasher, dryer, washer, can opener, etc. He is such a sweet boy. Message me if interested! He is such a love...

Sweet little Fiona Mae needed a little more activity than her 1st Foster-To-Adopt home could offer. She was nice enough to recognize that and even though she had bonded with her, let her go.. Now, Fiona is so happy with other siblings to play with! She fit in so perfectly that the decision to adopt her came within the 1st 24 hrs! 😂 She has her sister GG, not a Morgan’s Mutt, but also has Darla Mae & Petunia, now Bashful at home! Morgan’s Mutts Alumni! We could not have found a more perfect home for this sweet girl! Thank you Lechssenring Family! Happy Tails little Fiona Mae! 👏🥳🥰🐕❤️🎊
