Meet Sparkles, a domesticated rabbit that was found in the Palm Islands Estates area just a months or two ago. She's about the perfect age to have been a cute little Easter rabbit that was bought as a gift, and dumped not after the excitement wore off. Our technician, Faith Jones has been looking after her for the last 6 weeks, and is hoping to find Sparkles her forever home. If you are interested, please let us know!

🎉$250 Dental Cleaning for Dogs and Cats

We have been very successful with the launching of dental cleanings two months ago, and our appointments are rapidly filling! With our base price starting at $250,
the question we get asked most often is, how is our price so much lower than other vets?
Being that We Care Clinic is a 501c3 non-profit; we are able to keep our costs down with donations from the community/grants.

What does the Dental Cleaning include?
☑️ Prophylactic ultrasonic scaling
☑️ Low speed polishing
☑️ Sedation & General Anesthesia
☑️ Anesthetic monitoring by Dr. Kluska, and
Ally LVTg (me)
☑️ One on one post op monitoring by LVT and recovery staff ensuring a smooth recovery by your pet.

What does it not include?
❌ Pre Operative Bloodwork (We do offer it, for $100. However it cannot be done the same day as dental cleaning)
❌ Intravenous Catheter
❌ Advanced monitoring
❌ Dental Radiographs
❌ Extractions (We do preform removal of diseased teeth however the extractions are not included in the base price).

We are happy to say that we have already helped 2 dozen cats and dogs feel their very best since we have been able to offer this service, with many more to come!

Meet Cornbread and Brisket, two little guys that were brought in through our TNR program. They were just too cute for us to turn back loose. We've had them for two weeks now, and despite their unfortunate circumstances of birth they both are adjusting well to life indoors with humans. They are both neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, flea-free, and litterbox trained, and are looking for their forever home!

While we are excited to announce we recently preformed our 1,000th spay/nueter surgery since moving to our new location in February- we'd like to address everyone's least favorite subject. The waiting list. Despite us performing over 200 spay/neuter surgeries per month, our waiting list remains long. So for the sake of transparency, here's what it looks like in numbers.

We currently have 605 people on our waiting list, some of those people have multiple animals. Of those 605, we so far have 189 scheduled for surgery in the up and coming weeks. Of the 605, we currently have 299 individuals whom we have reviewed their request and are working on getting them an appointment as their time comes. Of the 605 we have had 10 people request an appointment today, of which they have not been reviewed yet and added to the queue. And finally, of that 605, there are 107 individuals whom we have called and haven't been able to get ahold of them. To avoid a prolonged back and forth, we suggest to save our phone number if you're waiting for a call from us, and check your voicemail. If you do miss a call from us, the best way to get a rapid response is via text message.

This is all to say if you've requested an appointment and haven't heard back from us, trust the process. We're working through our waitlist as quickly as possible. Please DO NOT put in multiple requests online, or leave us multiple voicemails inquiring about your appointment. This hinders our ability to work efficiently. We were informed this morning that Georgia Power will be doing some routine maintenance and repairs tomorrow, and we will be without power for the duration of their work. All appointments that were scheduled for tomorrow, May 21st will be rescheduled as soon as possible. We will be reopen on Thursday, May 22nd.

We are so grateful to have received this grant from ARF to help cover the cost of spay and nueters for dogs in Wayne County. Together, we can work on fixing the pet overpopulation of our community! Juana Grover presents the ARF GRANT CHECK to Dr. Janeen Kluska, owner of We Care Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic! As announced the funds are to be used to cover the surgery fee for dogs belonging to Wayne County citizens. The dog must have a current rabies vaccination certificate or it will get a rabies vaccination at the time of surgery at owners expense ($15). We all know that as humans, we should be brushing and flossing daily to prevent cavities, gum disease, and build-up of tarter and plaque. But dental health is something that is often overlooked when it comes to our four-legged friends.

Studies have shown that by the time they're 3 years of age, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have developed some form of dental disease. Maybe you've noticed your dog or cat having foul breath, bloody gums, yellow or brown build-up on their teeth, or maybe your pet dropping food or having difficulty chewing? These can all be early signs of dental disease.

Here at We Care Clinic, we strive to provide affordable care to the furry friends of Southeast Georgia and are excited to announce the offering of a new low-cost service. DENTAL CLEANINGS.

A dental cleaning requires full anesthesia for the patient, while ultrasonic scaling and hand polishing are performed to ensure those teeth are in tiptop shape, for all of the chewing, chomping, and gnawing that your pet has in store. Our cleanings will start at $250, with additional fees for any extractions that may need to be done.

All dental cleanings will be performed by Ally Gelderman LVT, under the direct supervision of the wonderful Dr. Janeen Kluska DVM, at our clinic located at 357 W Bay St, Jesup Ga.

We just wanted to let yall know that we will be raising our surgery prices by around $20 for spays and neuters. We hate to have to do so, and the decision was not made lightly. But we stand by still being an affordable option for spay and neuter services in Southeast Georgia. Our temporary price board is listed below with the updated prices, and will have to make do until we can unleash our creative talent and make something that looks real nice.
