We are just a few days away, we will have plenty of NY/PA frasir firs of all sizes & shapes.

Locally grown blue spruces are limited this year but we will have a few 6-12ft - grown here in howard county.

That's a wrap for pumpkins!

Hunter says thank you all who stopped by & bought pumpkins this year & to the ones who donated to his fun run.

We will have the last pumpkins being picked out of the field this week at sharps, We will have tons of decorations for thanks giving.

You may notice the bailer, lights, & stands getting set up this week & next but we won't have trees until November 23rd but we are still open for pumpkin sales.

HEARING TONIGHT!!!

Being transparent about our Farm Museum ties, this case is difficult for us. A long time resident and small business owner is patitioning to have a farm stand and riding ring and based on other posts has plans for future expansion into more of a children’s camp format.

The hearing is hybrid (in persn and on-line).

We have read all the arguments against this use: more traffic, noise, etc. We’d like to point out that when farmers can’t bring in enough money to stay afloat, they will have no choice but to sell the property. Property that will then become a housing development, which will bring with it more traffic and noise as well as taxing the environment in other ways. Those that are against this change of use may also be people that live in local housing developments that are there because the farmer couldn’t afford to remain. Loosing another farm is just another step toward Western Howard County becoming more suburban than rural.

Many have said there is no need for another “agro-tourism” / “kids-camp” in our community. Without these types of business there is no place for kids to learn about nature, enjoy the fresh air, and get away from excessive screen time.

We implore everyone to really do your research prior to making a decision on this situation. Having another “Clark’s Elioak Farm” may not be the worse thing that could happen to that property.

Hunter picked up a bunch of nice ones this afternoon! we have a bunch of new pumpkins of all sorts! A great vareity of shapes & sizes.

He loves a good jack-o-lantern with a good handle & we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

We are open until 11 tonight.

All pumpkins are locally grown here in howard county.

Hunty & I will be running the stand this weekend, Syd came into contact with insectisides from a removal this past week from organophosphate compounds in the insectisides & has not been feeling the best.
