Crystal Ridge Equine Facility – Hiring Barn Staff (Jessieville, AR)
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking person with REAL horse experience to join our team in Jessieville, Arkansas. This is a physical, hands-on job caring for 15+ horses (and growing). If you don’t mind dirt, mud, hay in your clothes, and busy days—this may be for you.
Schedule:
We are looking for someone who can work weekends (Saturday is a must, Sunday availability preferred).
Additional weekday hours are available depending on how many days you’re wanting to work. Our team usually takes one day off a week, but there is flexibility for someone needing two days off.
Requirements:
• Must have actual horse handling experience (halter, tie, lead, groom safely)
• Able to lift 50+ pounds (hay, feed, waters, etc.)
• Comfortable working in rain, mud, cold, or light snow
• Must be dependable and show up—horses rely on us every single day
• Comfortable driving an ATV around horses
• Must be okay getting dirty and doing physical barn work
• Plus: Someone who can saddle and ride correctly
Very Important:
We are not teaching someone how to handle or ride horses from scratch.
We can help polish skills, but this is not a paid training position. You must already have horse knowledge and be able to safely work around horses without needing constant supervision.
Daily Duties:
• Feed grain to all horses in the morning
• Hay, water, and check horses over
• Clean stalls and runs
• Keep barn areas maintained
• Help with daily chores and whatever the team needs
• Assist in keeping the horses cared for and the facility running smoothly
This position takes a particular type of person—someone who is dependable, works hard, pays attention, and truly cares about the horses. We will be selective because the quality of care for our horses always comes first.
