APRIL IS AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH.

All of us at 6 LEGGED ADVENTURES believe that it is important to educate yourself on the spectrum that brings color into this world and how Service Dogs can help their development.
Contact your local Service Dog organization and ask how you can connect these loving dogs to an amazing kid.

I think its safe to say we all love to spoil our dogs for the holiday season. Stockings, gifts, special treats, and maybe an outfit change or 2. All of these are great but the best way we can show our love is to keep them safe and remember our furry family members can not eat everything we can.

These are just SOME of the Most common ingredients found in our holiday foods that they can NOT tolerate:
-Chocolate
-Onions
-Avocado/ Guacamole
-Grapes
-Raisins
-Macadamia nuts
-Coffee/ Tea
-Garlic
-Sugar substitutes
-Nutmeg
-Lemon/ Lime
-Raw dough
- and of course Alcohol

If there is anything you are unsure of, always be safe and look it up-your pups will thank you for it. 🐾🐾🐾
