Meet Luge! 👋

This adorable 5 month old pup recently made the trip from Mississippi with his three siblings and is still getting used to the sights and sounds of city life. Like many young dogs adjusting to a new environment, he’s learning the ropes one day at a time. 👏

The good news? Luge is already house trained and crate trained, which is a great start for a young pup! He’s also dog friendly, cat friendly, loves the beach and enjoys having dog friends around. 🐶🐈

Luge is still a baby with lots of curiosity and love to give. With a little guidance, patience, and plenty of playtime, he’s going to grow into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a sweet young dog to explore the world with, Luge might be your guy. 🤩

You’ve got to hear Arya’s story 😭⤵️

A few weeks ago it was Arya’s 7th birthday! Her mom reached out to us and asked if she could buy the first seven bags of treats for the first seven customers who happen to come into the shop that day.

Why? Arya is leash-reactive and she and her dog parents are so thankful that our community gives her the space she needs to enjoy outdoor walks too. Arya and her family wanted to give back!

What an incredible way to show love and support to our beautiful JC community.

At Hound About Town, we believe all pups deserve to experience the joy of their local pet store. We happily offer private shopping times for dogs that may need extra space to be successful. All we ask is that you give us some notice and we are happy to accommodate.
