Town of Jena Dog Pound

Town of Jena Dog Pound The Pound only picks up dogs INSIDE the city limits!! There is a town ordinance forbiding dogs to roam free inside city limits. We have a NEW adoption program.

After we have held a dog for 5 days they are considered " Town Property" & can be adopted out. General animal control for the Town of Jena. The adoption fee has been lowered to $10, and puppies are free! You also can recieve a spay/neuter discount at LaSalle Vet Clinic & Catahoula Vet Clinic (with a copy of your receipt & spay/neuter contract). Catahoula Vet Clinic is also giving a free rabies vaccine with your adoption receipt!
