Finally getting caught up on adoption pictures. Mr. Orion our male Unircorn was adopted on November 19th by Joyce a foster for the city and so many rescues ours being one of them. Look how beautiful he is and his personality makes him even more special! We knew he would be loved and in good hands. Happy gotcha day!!❤️
His story was I Jontelle was at home sleeping. My kids and there dad were visiting his parents. And they get home around 10 pm and just throw a cat on me that they found in the engine of grandpas car. They never seen him before. Which is funny because hubby always says NO more cats, than he brings one himself haha. The plan was just to TNR him and take him back. But on the way back to release him being no one had seen him before I thought hmmm he couldve gotten in the engine from a different location or he was dumped, he was so black hed been in there a while. & He deserved a chance. So we decided to work with him which didn’t take long the minute they put him on me he started purring and was attached to me and my daughters the ones who heard him crying in the engine. He was a bigger kitten too. So that’s Orions happy ending!! All animals deserve a chance! Not all tame up but still give them a chance!!

Three beautiful kittens at Petland looking for there forever loving home. Jake and Finn the 2 male grey Russian Blues and Gato the male grey with white. They are all neutered, microchipped, rabies, FVRCP and up to date and current on all vaccines. They are very very affectionate and vocal! Esspecially Gato he wants your attention 24.7 and will not stop until he gets it and you give him those pets he wants. Please don’t just get for a cute temporary Christmas gift but for a FOREVER Christmas present. These kittens had a hard start at life so they deserve the best love they can get for the rest of there beautiful lives!! Merry Christmas Jemez Angel Cat Rescue family!!!

Update: We are deeply saddened to announce that Nyla aka Citrus is no longer with us. She was definitely a fighter! She was living under a shed for weeks with no food or water. We did all could for her, got her vetted right away and on meds. But her little body couldn’t fight anymore. The minute I Jontelle had her in my arms she started purring after chasing her around and trying to catch her for hours!. She was very lathaegic from the minute we got her. She wouldnt eat anything to go in the trap no sardines, no mackerel, no ckicken. I think she had been starved for too long sadly. She couldnt leave the shed or three big dogs including a husky wouldve been after her.. When she got to my house she was so excited to see other cats which I’ve never seen a cat get that excited before which makes us think her family may have been killed in front of her (it was dogs who found her and did not like her).. She was the most sweetest loving cat, she loved cuddling with you and would not leave your side! We appreciate everyone who helped out and prayed for her.. She was definitely loved and take care of until her last breath! After her appointment our amazing founder picked her up from me the next day and we both did all we can at saving this sweet girls life!! She is now across the rainbow bridge living a happy healthy eternal life!!🐾🐈🌈

JEMEZ ANGEL CAT Rescue is asking for your help more than ever. We’ve taken in a few critical kittens in these last few weeks. If you could donate to there vet care that would help us out tremendously! This little guy well girl turns out to be would greatly appreciate your help. She was found under a shed by a ladies dogs who were not happy. We don’t know if they killed mom and siblings or where she came from. There is no cats in the area and acres of land in between houses. She is a Maincoon Polydactyl Mix. She has a severe URI and some type of infection. Animal control showed up for her and she ran under the shed so the left right away. But I DO NOT give up. She wouldn’t go into a trap because she wouldn’t eat she was very dehydrated. I chased her around for about 3 hours. Than went back when it got dark. Played mom cat crying sounds like I did earlier in the day, she came out we blocked off the shed. I chased her around there 1/2 acre of backyard for around a hour and finally got her cornered in the back corner of their yard and grabbed her. I rushed her home and gave her fluids and that perked her right up to eat. But as you can see she’s still not feeling well. She has an appointment to get a full blood pannel and any testing the vet thinks she may need.

Sometimes life just doesn’t go the way you expect. These two brothers were adopted a little over 2 years ago and now they are looking for a new home that can keep them together. Meet James Bond and Felix.
James Bond and Felix are 2 1/2 yr old, bonded brothers. James is a very handsome tuxedo and Felix is a snowshoe with bright blue eyes. Both are polydactile (lots of extra toes) and big boys. They still act like kittens at times but are very affectionate lap cats.
Their owners have developed severe medical issues and caring for two active cats is unsafe for their mom because of her mobility issues. The owners are looking for a very good home for both cats together.
