17 Year Old Thoroughbred Mare

This girl has had a life! Raced at an early age under the name Debt Collector, which just wasn't her thing. Sold and became a brood mare for years. Once over bred, she was being sent to slaughter. This is where I came in (3.5 years ago). She was rescued and rehabbed very slowly with no expectations. At that point, we realized she is pigeoned toed. Building her weight and trust of humans was the only goal.

Once decompressed, she was ridden under saddle where she walk, trots and centers. All gaits are lovely to ride. Since pigeoned toed, she shouldn't jump but more than a cross rail. She will go English or Western and in a hackamore. When trail ridden, she does best with another horse but will go out alone.

This girl needs someone who can give her consistent time and compassion and trust. She has the sweetest face and eyes to make you give her treats and kisses. Beretta would also make a great companion horse or babysitter.

I do not have to get rid of her but would love for her to have someone who can give her more time than I can. She is so deserving of it!

She will only be ADOPTED to a good home and goes with a contract.
