"When you find that people have failed you, turn to shelter pets. People have failed them, too. You can heal together." ❤️

We have two girls that definitely fall into this category, as they both had homes in the past, yet somehow ended up fending for themselves on the street. Sadie Cat is on the left, and she was found stray in terrible condition, very thin and her coat full of burrs and mats. She has gained weight back now and her coat is becoming beautiful again. She loves to be brushed and will require regular brushings. Charo is on the right, and we have included a kitten picture of her, as she originally came to us as a small kitten when she was abandoned outside the shelter. We adopted her out, but unfortunately last fall she was found wandering around stray, and we have been unable to contact the adopters. They both have adorable grumpy faces, but they are far from grumpy. They are both quiet and loving and just happy to have food and a soft bed. Sadie Cat is around 4 years old and Charo is around 5, so they will be calmer, loving companions to have in your home. Let us know if you would like to meet either of these wonderful girls!

This is Luna, a 7-month old lab/Jack Russell terrier mix. She's okay with cats, she's very curious about them but won't hurt them, and she'd be better in a dog-only home with a place for her to run. If interested, we'll put you in touch with her owner.

Dog spotlight! 🔦

Picasso is about a year and a half old Great Pyrenees or Anatolian Shepherd mix (double dew claws on her hind legs give her away)! She's cuddly, playful, great under supervision with other dogs, small animals like cats and rabbits, and kids, and unbelievably cute. Her smooshy face likely happened before or during birth and doesn't complicate her life in the slightest--- in fact, she knows how to work it to her best advantage and gets more than her fair share of treats. She's completed a basic obedience course and had lots of socialization so she's ready for a forever home!

Picasso is in foster with Amy Lewman and is available for adoption from PAWS 🧡

I have a lab/pointer mix year and a half to two year old male dog needing a new home. Farm is a must with him. I run him 4 times a day if I can 2 miles or more each time. And I don't feel it's enough he still has so much energy and is destroying my stuff. He loves to chase out pheasants and eat chocolate. He's fixed and collar trained. He's a handsome boy who will sit in the passenger seat like a pretty boy. He is VERY well potty trained. I don't want to see him go but with me working and him destroying everything I just can't do it anymore. He CANNOT be put in a kennel. So if that's a plan for anyone please don't message. He's been living with my cats and been around other dogs but has killed a pheasant and a hamster!

Before judgement I rescued with homes for all 3 brothers at the time with his falling through so I have kept him. Again I don't want to rehome him but I feel a farm is better or even hunting is more Mavericks alley!

Approximately 300 eggs filled with healthy, homemade treats, for your pups to sniff out😜 $5 per dog - free gifts for your dogs and a special gift basket for the golden egg winner!
