We offer boarding, horse training, people training, breaking out and we are excited to start doing more with CMSA Futurity. Pellegrino Pastures LLC is a family owned and operated small farm just outside of Jefferson Ohio. e free to rome the pastures and have the shelter they need to get out of the weather when they desire. Most of our animals are from time to time hand fed by our children and are fairly easy to handle. Our steer and sheep are grass fed and sometimes given grain for their last 4-6 weeks to add a little marbling as strictly grass fed are known for being very lean. Some of our customers prefer no grain be given to the steer they are getting and we happily accommodate! Our meat chickens are given plenty of room to run around. Many meat chickens grow too fast for their legs to handle the weight. Growing them slow and giving them room to run around helps them to stay healthy and stay mobile. We are not huge and we are not experts, but we are learning, we are raising healthy animals and we are providing great tasting healthy products.

4-year-old grullo roan APHA mare with the mind and athleticism to be a serious arena horse.

• Quiet and sensible – not spooky (she leaves the dramatics to the other horses)

• Easy with other horses
• Easy keeper (your feed bill will appreciate her)

Super quiet and easy to handle on the ground and under saddle, but when asked she has a stop you better be paying attention for. Currently about 14.1. My guess would be to finish out about 14.2 ish.

In today's episode of "if you're anything like us"

If you're anything like us, you feel like ya should get more than one winter out of a $45 heated water bucket.

We decided to try something. We took one apart that stopped working. The outer shell comes off the inner shell. The heat tape is removable. Then we got on Amazon and bought a new heart tape for about $15. We put the new just tape around the inner shell and reattached the other shell.

Boom, back in business for 1/3rd the price.

Well this is that for us. The automatic, heated pasture waterer. In all our pastures. The horses always have fresh water all year round.

Miss Ruby got more experience this weekend at the Steeltown Gunslingers winter series. We got to exbo for the last time!!! Next shoot we will be officially in competition! I am so happy with how she is coming along. Great minded and quiet. She is for sale but will be competing until sold. The goal is to take her to Eastern's this year!!

Little Miss Ruby is turning into an amazing mounted shooting horse! She has a phenomenal whoa and doesn't care one bit about the shooting. The scary part is loping straight toward the banners. That will be better with time no doubt! She has only 6 months under saddle at this point. Lego also got to join in on the fun this weekend. He got ponied around the warm up pen and was around all the shooting. It's great when the yearling is the same height as the 3 yr old. 😂 See a couple videos in the comments .

Well, Sylvio Pellegrino and Christy Pellegrino may be on the lamb. They were part of the train robbery in Arcade NY this past weekend.

What a blast. 300 passengers on board the Arcade & Attica Railway. The train was held up and robbed, then a shootout in town. Sorry not much video, but some pics!
