I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at the story time and answering questions about Therapy Dogs and Service Dogs! It will be a dog gone good time and the proceeds go the the Jefferson City Animal Shelter and Therapy Paws.

Agility Classes start Sunday, January 4, 2026 at MidMo Dog Center in Jefferson City, MO.
Sign up at midmodogs.com
Classes will be at MidMo Dog Training inside (a nice warm training room) on competition-sized and quality equipment. We will work on tunnel, chute, A-frame, Dogwalk, Teeter, Jumps, Weaves, Hoops, Wobble, and more.

Count them - 6 New Therapy Dog Teams! I'm so excited for everyone who passed! A BIG SHOUT out to Therapy Paws for helping to coordinate. These teams will start 2026 off volunteering to brighten the day of others. This was our last Therapy Dog International evaluation of 2025 and it was a great one. We were very blessed by so many youth at the test helping us with the child portion. Thank you Brylee, Ian, Vivian, Josiah, Anderson, Tommy, Harvey, Parker, and Chezney for your help. We will get some 2026 testing dates posted soon on our website.

If you would like to come and help us out next Sunday, December 14th, we would really appreciate it. I’ve always loved working with animals so when I was introduced to a black lab mix puppy, Neptune, at a local shelter I feel in love training him. Over a decade later, I have trained thousands of dogs and their families. I am a CPDT-KA, Therapy Dog Evaluator, Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, author of Canine Champions in Sports Locker Magazine, author in Chronicles of the Dog, professional member of APDT (Association of Professional Dog Trainers), Super intendant of the Cole County Fair Dog Show, 4-H Dog Show judge, founder of MidMo Waggers, and Puppies for Parole Trainer.
