New month, new spread, who dis? Holy Wands, Batman! Lots of action this month, paired with love and a higher understanding. This makes sense as we leave the year of the snake behind and enter the Year of the Horse in February. Hold on to your socks folks, sh*t's about to get real.

Theme: Ace of Cups. Treat yourself and others with love and respect. Always an important message when I feel like it's even more important now in today's world.
Mantra: I allow my heart to open safely and fully.

Focus: 4 of Wands. Celebrate where you are. Celebrate how far you've come. Yes your journey is not done. But it's important that you recognize where you're at before you move on to the next thing.
Mantra: I build joy on a foundation of peace and stability

Let go of: 6 of Wands. Do you find yourself seeking validation from others a lot? Is others praise something you thrive on? I know I do. I love all the gold stars but when I don't get them I feel like it's because I didn't deserve them. And that's really not the case. Let go of seeking that validation from others and trust that you are worthy. You are not here to perform for others. Your growth does not need an audience. Your journey is yours, and no one else's.
Mantra: I released the need for validation from others and trust my own knowing.

Additional Guidance: 9 of Wands. Do not give up! Of course you've been through hell and back, who hasn't? But now is not the time to rest, now is the time to rally. You've got another big push before it's smooth sailing. Suit up!

When I was pulling these cards, two additional cards came out and so of course we add them to the spread. They were the Ace of Wands and The High Priestess. A spiritual awakening is upon you. A huge a-ha moment that not only energizes and revitalizes but also brings peace and understanding. Don't fight it.

As I was making this post, I can hear an owl hooting outside. I never hear owls at my house. I only hear them at the park. I take this as a sign, a good omen. Owls see what others miss. Pay attention to those gut feelings this month.
