The official page for the City Animal Shelter where our jurisdiction is within the City limits of Jasper, Tx. We are not taking in any Jasper County dogs.

When you adopt a dog you save 2 lives, the dog you adopted and the dog that takes its place.

Rey started out timid, but once she realized she was safe, she became a total lovebug. Now she can’t get enough of playing with us, following us around, and soaking up affection. She’s sweet, sensitive, and so eager to bond deeply with “her” person. A gentle little soul ready to shine. 🤍

Nova has been reclaimed. Please remember to keep your animals contained for their own safety!

if anyone recognizes this dog, which was struck by a vehicle off of North Main Street, please let us know!

Whenever we pick up an animal like this, we are forced into a painful decision. If no one will claim it, but its condition is treatable, we MUST wait the three day stray hold. The animal will be on pain killers, but left with its injuries until we can declare it a stray ACCORDING TO STATE GUIDELINES.

So if this animal is yours, I am BEGGING YOU. Please just come forward and be honest. If you can surrender it to us or make the choice to take over the treatment, we can move forward faster with treatment and get the animal out of pain.
