Today, we’re celebrating 3 incredible years of Compassion Veterinary Hospital!

What began as a dream to create a different kind of veterinary hospital-one built on compassion, integrity, exceptional medicine, and genuine relationships-has become so much more than we ever imagined.

Over the past three years, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming thousands of pets through our doors, celebrating new puppies and kittens, helping families through difficult goodbyes, cheering on countless recoveries, and becoming part of this amazing community.

None of this would have been possible without YOU.

Heatstroke can happen FAST — especially during Texas summers. ☀️

Pets cannot cool themselves the same way humans do, and even a short amount of heat exposure can quickly become dangerous.

🚨 Signs of heatstroke include: • Excessive panting
• Thick drooling
• Bright red or pale gums
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Weakness or collapse • Disorientation
• Rapid heart rate
• Trouble breathing
• Seizures

If you suspect heatstroke:
✔ Move your pet to a cool area immediately
✔ Offer small amounts of water
✔ Use cool (NOT ice cold) water on paws/body
✔ Contact a veterinarian ASAP

Heatstroke is always an emergency and early intervention can save lives. 💙
