Energy doesn’t just disappear; I can’t change physics. But I can teach your dog to be a Thinking K9 — one that can stay cognitively engaged and responsive even when excited. This means developing neural pathways for arousal regulation, impulse control, and decision-making under stress.

We didn’t choose dogs because they’re calm, quiet, and still. We chose them for their joy, their spark, their big feelings — like that tail-wagging, full-body wiggle that greets us at the door. Suppressing that energy isn’t the answer — in fact, it would take away the very things we love most.

It's basic physics-- energy cannot simply go away/be suppressed; it needs an outlet that fulfills a need. If you don't provide one, it will find its own outlet, and you won't like it.

We love our four-legged visitors at the Market, but summer temps can make it ruff out there. 🐾 On especially hot days, the best way to show your pup some love might just be to leave them at home in the cool A/C. Their comfort and safety are a top priority! ❤️☀️
