Final update-there had been no improvement, he was pitifully dragging back end, sacrum shattered. He was humanely euthanized Friday. He mattered-and I am very grateful to everyone who stopped and helped, inquired and prayed. Not the end we had hoped for-but knowing he was fed, warm, treated and not alone is alot. Knowing there are caring humans out there still is alot more.
Update on our lil orange rescued culvert kitty-pelvis and sacrum is shattered-which means no ability to relieve himself on his own. Prognosis is poor-but steroids and pain relievers are still being given so that swelling can reduce to see if that is in accurate prognosis.

Huge shout out to DOT Falconer/Levant site, Alicia Shields, Amanda Frady and Jeff, Wayne and several other people-in a time where are the majority likes to stop and take footage of terrible things happening instead of actually helping -these people got down, muddy and dirty for a cat that wasn’t their own that was hit by a car and then terrified-took refuge in a culvert. After a few hours of work-the cat was finally obtained and taken to the clinic and treated. If you’ve ever seen an injured animal in pain, you’ll know that it was not an easy task at all-Knowing this kitty won’t be dying alone and freezing in a mud filled culvert is everything tonight. Sometimes Heros wear hard hats!
