Good afternoon! On the beautiful cold afternoon A few friendly reminders we wanted to share as we begin our 2026
- Please make sure your pets shot record is updated, we have been asked many times if vaccinations are required- the answer is yes the last thing we want is for a pet to get sick becuse of other pets owners not vaccinating their dog, A lot of dogs we watch are members of a family and should be protected as you protect your own children.
- Please make sure to stick to your scheduled drop off and pick up times, if your going to be early or late please be respectful and let us know, not only do we board dogs but we also board horses, and we are also a family and a big part of our daily lives is scheduling.
- When dropping off a dog please bring a leash, weather permitting we really enjoy getting the dogs out to walk and let their noses get some exercise. Any thing else you want them to have is perfectly ok to like treats, beds, toys, bones, blankets and food, dogs don’t always do well when you switch their food so please make sure you bring enough for their whole stay and a few meals extra for the just in case times. We provide the bowls, the kuranda raised dog beds, Heat, A/C, a place to be safe, and a place to run and play.
- Its cold- it’s brutal cold, some dogs can handle it and some cannot we do our best to make sure the ones that cannot get to go out first so they can focus on going to the bathroom- if you have ever seen a dog try poo or p*e with their paws lifted off the ground you feel terrible for them- they get some extra cuddle time inside while the others are running around and rolling in the snow.
We keep our whole schedule open for the whole year because of that we do have a few days/ weekends blocked off so we can go do family things. So don’t be afraid to schedule in advance we seem to fill up about a month out depending on the time of year and what’s going on- we were pretty much full from April- to the start of school, and then September- Christmas last year and had to turn a lot of pups away.
