Hello everyone, Today, we learned that the largest pet aftercare corporation in North America approached us, pretending to be a hospital opening in our area. They had an elaborate story to gain our trust and access to our price list and other information. To say we feel used would be an understatement. This corporation's estimated revenue is over $15 million a year—more than we have made in our entire existence. It is mind-blowing to think that such a huge company would have the audacity to try to squeeze out a small business in such a deceptive way. We pride ourselves on offering personalized service, and we work incredibly hard to ensure owners feel comfort with our care. It’s disheartening to realize that a large corporation simply wants to crush us like a bug. We are a small company with only four employees. This means that when we take care of your pets, we know their names, their stories, and their favorite toys. We talk to them as if they are still here with us. Your pets receive the love and dedication they deserve, right until they are back in your hands.

I am asking for a favor: please share this message and bring attention to what small businesses have to endure. I know we are not alone in this struggle. It is already challenging enough to keep a small business alive. We are grateful for our wonderful clients who help us stay afloat, and we appreciate you more than you know. We will continue to be here for you in your darkest times and help your beloved pets cross that bridge.
