Today we learned of the passing of another treasured client dog.
Teddy’s life started out rough. His scars told the story of former abuse or being a bait dog.
He went to a foster for Lab Rescue and became another “foster failure” for his Mom. But that happened to be his luckiest day. He hit the jackpot, as his new human loved him more than he could have ever known. And he returned the favor by being more devoted to her than we have ever seen. To the point that if she was working from home, we had to cancel his walk that day because he refused to leave her side.
Teddy had dealt with health issues over the years but received to best care and treatments. Ultimately his age and ailments were too much and it was time for his Mom to make the hardest decision.
Teddy said goodbye at home with Mom by his side. We pray for strength for her in this time of stress and grief.
We know that he is no longer in pain and can run free with Maggie, Scooby, Marley and the rest of our packs at the Rainbow Bridge.
RIP Teddy. You were a great boy and your job here is done. Rest easy big boy!
