Animalkind Holistic Veterinary Clinic is a well-established veterinary practice serving cats and dogs of the Rogue Valley. As a holistic veterinary clinic, we offer nutritional counseling, acupuncture, herbal medicine, homeopathy and Chiropractic services to promote the optimal health for our patients. Position Overview:
We are seeking a kind, attentive, and motivated Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant who shares our passion for holistic pet care. **Previous Veterinary experience is required.** The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of holistic modalities, or an open mind to learning them.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years in the Veterinary field (Experience in holistic or integrative care is a plus)
• Passion for holistic wellness, natural therapies, and animal advocacy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment, Must be able to multi-task and remain positive.
• Comfort with both cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Familiarity with Idexx Neo software
• Willingness to learn and grow with a progressive, compassionate team

It's Foxtail Season!!! Your pets worst enemy!!!!!

Watch out for these extremely pesky grass seeds, which can get stuck in paws, ears, nose and eyes. Since they are barbed, they work there way in and get stuck. In most cases, they do not come out on there own and often require veterinary intervention.

Signs your pet may have a foxtail:
- Sudden onset of excessive sneezing
- Shaking and pawing at the ear
- Red swellings between the toes often accompanied by excessive licking

Best way to avoid foxtails are to mow early while they are green, avoid trails and fields with foxtails and check paws after walking. If you think your pet may have a foxtail, give us a call and we can advise you on next steps! We are here Tu-Friday from 9-5 and can be reached at 541-702-2288.

Dr.Judkins will be ON VACATION May 13- May 23. Appointments will resume Tuesday May 27th.

Anyone recognize this cutie?

One of our Good Samaritan clients found her running in the middle of the street in Medford. She's young, female (appears spayed) and does NOT have a chip. May have been on the street for quite some time. Very sweet!!!
