We are kicking off the Christmas season with the Holiday Hope Event running from December 1-15, 2025. We will be offering reduced adoption prices for the whole event

We officially have 11 pets placed into holiday foster homes with just one hour left to go today! 🦃

Tomorrow is our LAST day to send even more pets into warm, cozy homes before Thanksgiving — and with several appointment no-shows today, spots are OPEN!

If you’ve been thinking about fostering for the holiday, this is your sign! Walk in, meet a few pets, and take home a holiday guest who will be so thankful for you.

S N O U T S C O U T S S U C C E S S ! 🎉

In the last 30 days (plus 3… because I’m late posting this 😅) an incredible 55 dogs have gotten a break from the shelter through our Snout Scouts program! 🐾✨

These pups enjoyed real-life adventures—car rides, park trips, beach days, coffee runs, and cozy couch snuggles—all while their amazing chaperones documented every moment. These outings help us learn who they really are outside the shelter, and it makes a HUGE difference.

💡 Fun fact: The average time between a dog’s Snout Scout day and their adoption is just 8 days.
Eight days!! Proof that exposure and enrichment truly save lives.

A massive shout-out to all our volunteers and especially our front desk team, who work so hard to match dogs, gather gear, and get each pup ready for a day of fun. We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

🐾 Snout Scout Spotlight: Princess Tiana! 👑💛

Meet Tiana, the queen of cozy car rides and sunshine adventures! This sweet girl lives for long drives with her snuggly blanket in the backseat, and on her Snout Scout outing she had the best day ever.

Tiana explored a park where she chased leaves, sniffed every good smell, and even rolled down a hill — twice! (Yes, her Scout friend got three great photos of her rolling like the adorable goof she is. The leash made it a little tricky, but she did it anyway because joy waits for no one! 🤣🍂)

During her adventure, Tiana met a group of junior high students on a field trip. She stood politely, soaked in all the love, and had the whole group saying they wanted to adopt her. Maybe they’ll go home and beg their parents! She was truly perfect with them — gentle, calm, and soaking up the attention.

She finished her day by climbing small hills, sniffing flowers, and taking in the sunshine like a little nature princess. 🌸☀️

🐾 Snout Scout Spotlight: Lorelai! 🐾

Lorelai had herself a day on her Snout Scout adventure! She enjoyed a peaceful walk in the park and even had a fun playdate with her adventure partner’s pups. She had an absolute blast playing — even if her energy didn’t last long, her happiness sure did. 💛

She also met children along the way and was so excited, but she kept her manners beautifully. This girl really tries her best to make everyone smile!

Lorelai is 6 years old and 47 pounds of absolute sweetness. She has been with us since July, and she is more than ready to find a family to call her own. She is:

✔️ Heartworm negative
✔️ Spayed
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ Up to date on vaccinations

Sweet, friendly, and hopeful — she can’t wait to meet you and start her new chapter. 💕

• 5 lb Yorkie – Pocket-sized, gentle, and easy to handle

SMALL DOG ALERT!

Yam has one of the most satisfying BEFORE and AFTER's that we have see in awhile.

This little guys is a 3 years old, Shih Tzu and Poodle mix. He weighs in at 8lbs! His adoption includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and other vetting for $140.

All adoptions are first come, first served and on a walk-in basis only.

Lastly, we are thankful for having a kind groomer that tends to help us with the special cases like these on a regular basis
