Happy Easter and with Gertie, 11 years old and 50lbs

Gertie is the most precious, sweetest, old lady dog you will ever meet. She has done well meeting all different people and has done well in playgroup! Who can help this girl out??

Camo and Midnite are not feeling very well. Being treated for a URI and may need encouragement to eat until they are feeling a little better.

UPDATE - Splash has been adopted by a 4’s Pet Project viewer!
Splash is this morning’s WJXT4 The Local Station / News4JAX 4’s Pet Project Super Star ⭐️. Splash is 2 years old, housebroken, crate trained, gets along great with other dogs and kids. Splash had been fostered since November - when he came to Animal Care & Protective Services abandoned and severely underweight. The great vet staff at ACPS and his amazing foster mom Ashley have healed Splash from his neglectful past to make him the healthy sweet boy he is today ❤️. Go meet Splash this weekend at ACPS. He will be behind the lobby counter waiting to meet you!

Maggie is losing weight at the shelter, despite veterinary care and a soft food only diet. She needs a foster home with less stress where she can show off her pretty smile!

Maui came in with her puppies in June 2024. Her puppies have been adopted, but she has become highly stressed in the kennels. She is playgroup approved!

Urgent need for kitten fosters! It's kitten season, which means some younger kittens cannot stay in the shelter overnight. This litter needs a watchful eye to help them feel better.
