The Glow-Up Beach Walk is finally here — grab your glow gear, leash up your pup, and come shine with the Ridgeside K9 NC & Woofie’s of Greater Jacksonville!

📍 Meet: Surf City Main Parking Lot (S. Shore Dr & Kinston Ave)

🕖 Check-in starts at 7:00 PM at the Ridgeside K9 table or register early: https://store.ridgesidek9nc.com/glow-up-beach-walk-page

🚶‍♂️ Walk kicks off around 7:30 PM

🎉 All dogs welcome — reactive pups too! Trainers will be there to help keep everything smooth and safe.

💡 Glow sticks, LED collars, and all things bright encouraged!

🧼 BONUS: Woofie’s of Greater Jacksonville’s will be on-site offering rinse-offs and sand/salt blowouts post-walk!

💪 If dog breeds were gym clichés, the gym would be a whole new kind of entertaining! 🐾

Picture this: the Golden Retriever is your overly enthusiastic workout buddy who insists on spotting you even when you don’t need it, the Husky is running laps on the treadmill while howling for attention, the Bulldog is definitely chilling in the sauna instead of lifting, and the Chihuahua? Let’s just say too much pre-workout and a whole lot of attitude 😂.

Just like at the gym, every dog has their own personality and quirks — and that’s exactly what makes training so fun for us! No matter if your pup is the cardio-obsessed Husky or the Bulldog that needs a little motivation, we tailor training to fit their vibe so they can succeed.

Get ready to light up the night at the Glow-Up Beach Walk — the ultimate summer event for dogs and their humans!

🗓 Date: Thursday, August 28th

🕖 Time: 7:00 PM
📍 Meet: Surf City Main Parking Lot (S. Shore Dr & Kinston Ave)

🎉 Still time to join us! All dogs are welcome — including reactive or shy pups. Our team of professional trainers will help ensure a safe, supportive environment for everyone.

✨ This event is proudly presented by Ridgeside K9 Eastern Carolina and Woofie’s of Jacksonville!

✅ Check in upon arrival at the Ridgeside K9 table in the parking lot for:

• Free glow sticks
• Safety gear check
• Event waivers

We are beyond proud of these pups and their families for putting in the time, effort, and consistency it takes to see real results.

Training isn’t always easy, but the payoff is HUGE — calmer walks, better focus, and stronger bonds between dog and owner. These graduates came in with their own challenges, and each one left more confident, more obedient, and ready to take on the world. 👏🐶

Dogs live in the moment, so whether you’re rewarding or correcting, it has to happen right as the behavior happens. 🐾 If you wait too long, your pup may not connect your response to the right action — which can slow progress and cause confusion.
