Parrotlets are small but mighty companions, known for their vibrant personalities and intelligence. Ensuring they have a spacious cage, a variety of toys, and regular social interaction is crucial for their happiness and health.
Parrotlets are very territorial so if you have more than 1 pair make sure to give them each their own space and time out of the cage. These amazing birds love to chatter and even though their small puffy territory dance doesn't seem threatening to a human they can definitely produce a good bite and can injure another bird.
Of course all birds have their own personalities and it is possible some birds can get along but I would never allow birds out on their own so make sure if your bird/birds are going to have free flight time to keep it supervised.
