Genesis is doing so well on her training. She is so gentle with taking toys out of her mouth. She has done well with the "Can I see it" command. She is up for adoption at SPCA East SPCA of East Texas.

Military Appreciation Day at the SPCA of East Texas will be held on Saturday, May 23rd. This special event honors not only those who have served, but also those who are currently serving today.

We invite all veterans, active-duty service members, and their families to join us for a day of celebration, community, and support while touring our adoption facility and learning more about the impact of our Pets for Veterans of East Texas program.

Veterans are encouraged to complete an adoption application in advance for pre-approval. All adoption fees will be waived for veterans as part of this event.

Please come dressed in your branch support gear to show your pride and service.
We’re also excited to announce that CampV will be on site, joining us in support of our veterans and community.

630am means its Genesis play yard and training time. From the moment I met her when we went to Smith County Animal Shelter to help this poor overly stressed and in labor Mama I knew she was special. An now look at this baby. She is ready for her home.

Service Dog class was challenging the dogs this week. But remember it all starts with Obedience training. Rocking it in stores, CampV and SPCA of East Texas. These dogs and their owners work hard and it shows.

Community Assisting Military Personnel and Veterans (CampV) is proud to announce an expansive partnership with K9 Connection, led by Alison Tuttle, and the SPCA of East Texas, to offer FREE Veteran service dog training at CampV. This program will train SPCA rescues as service dogs to meet Veterans’ specific needs, ranging from PTSD, anxiety, night terrors, mobility, and alluding, to alerting to seizure, diabetic, and cardiac activity, and more at no cost to the Veteran participant.

The SPCA is so very proud to be a partner with CampV.
