A huge thank you to everyone who came by Saturday morning to help work the herd. New friends, long-time amigos and amigas, it was great seeing you again. I missed my friend Dan, but hopefully, we can get together another day.
The event went very well, no buffalo or volunteers were hurt, and we finished in somewhere around 3 hours.
I released them from their containment areas this morning, and while most were sore and walking slowly, they were healthy and well.
It will take some a few days to forgive me from their yearly ordeal, but they will.
Preg, checking showed 15 confirmed and 6 will need to wait until blood testing comes back. Egads, twenty-one potential red dogs, will be a huge calf crop.
