Okay okay!
It’s official!!!!! Hopi is being adopted by my client Mollie!! She will 100% be staying with me, and I couldn’t be more happy or proud. She (of course) clicked with Mollie right away. Additionally, the tweens that love her so dearly will still be able to see her! She can still do her 4H nights AND now she can be in our film productions and media shoots.

I’m so happy to officially welcome Hopi HOME. FOREVER home.

Thank you Mississippi Horses, Stephanie, and all the team for making this possible.

This challenge changed my life, and so many others lives. I’m so grateful.

Hopi - pending adoption!!

We had a last minute bidder Saturday that swooped in and is adopting Hopi. The best news is that it wasn’t the only bid she had. She was/is wanted and going to a GREAT HOME… How do I know? Because she’ll be boarding / training with ME!!! Hopi is home y’all!

I’m going to hold off on updates until the paperwork is all buttoned up. Then we will introduce her loving new family (with their permission).

I’m getting life back together at the barn then I’ll upload our full “freestyle” video; this pic is for tax 🙂

The great, the good, the bad, the little bit of refusal 🙂 This trail course is CRAZY!!! But we survived. We def got some minuses but also some pluses.

I opted to ride her bitless today, I knew she would be amped up, the crowd, the music, the obstacles… I wanted to preserve her experience. I’m proud of that too.

Truth time - Hopi and I have done obstacles ONCE in 120 days… so, I’m again VERY proud of this mare!

Our whole run today!
The pattern had many steps, but she/we made very few mistakes. I’m very proud of her behavior today. She was very near to her BFFL Confetti… and she still kept it together for the most part. I’m most proud of her in the round pen - we haven’t practiced in the pen more than 3 times. We have always used a long line. She really came to the table and hasn’t p**ped in her stall all day (she has been on many walks, grazing trips, a short warm up, all places she p**ped) she even backed up to p**p in the ring while we were waiting, then stepped forward away from it. iykyk

Wanted to be transparent about Hopi! She really prefers our barn tweens 🙂 this is her learning / teaching our sweet Em how to lunge 🙂 these aren’t edited. They aren’t perfect, but this is who this horse is!
