To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.

Happy Furry Friday!! Not only are we celebrating some incredible new adoptions, but today also marks the start of Giving Season! 🎉

For hundreds of animals in the valley and beyond, home starts on this porch. Dogs and cats walk through the AAC doors and walk out with a their new family. 🏡❤️

From now through September 18, every donation made to the AAC through Old Bill’s will be matched, helping make even more homes possible!

Meet Ambre! This sweet gal is looking for a calm home & window with sunshine!! Her ears are permanently collapsed, but don't let her looks fool you- Ambre is as sweet as could be!! She loves looking out the window watching the world go by and would love a home where she could curl up near the window in the sunshine and do the same!

-Adoption is considered final upon bringing your cat home and signing an adoption agreement, however; when adopting a cat the AAC recognizes that an adjustment period of days or weeks may be necessary before it is fully comfortable in it’s new home. The AAC grants a two week trial period with cat adoptions to ensure that a good match is made. If a cat is returned within two weeks of adoption we will refund the adoption fee.
-We welcome out-of-area adopters, but please be aware we do require prospective adopters to come to our facility and meet the animal in person. Before you make the trip we encourage you to fill out an adoption application and submit it, to be sure you will qualify to adopt. Adoption applications can be filled out on our website. We cannot "hold" any animal. We have a "first qualified adopter can adopt" policy.
-We will not ship animals.
-Feel free to send over an inquiry or fill out an application for a cat you are interested in!
