EDITED TO ANNOUNCE DOUBLE WOWZERS! (See below regarding the materials needed for our spay neuter clinic)

WOW!
The gifts coming in from our supporters and friends during this Amazon Prime week have been amazing! Cat trees, Garbage Cans for food storage, pooper scoopers, garbage can liners for daily clean up, Odoban for cleaning, cat treats... The list goes on and on!
Thank you everyone for this support, it feels like Christmas in July!

WOW-WOW!
We HAD another need that was not on our Amazon wish list, because it is not a recurring need.
As many of you know, we are building out our vet clinic in preparation of opening a low cost spay neuter clinic.
In the room that is going to house the dogs as they await their fix, we need to hang some plastic wall board, 8 sheets, in fact.
I attached the link to Home Depot for the products and said if anyone could help us with that purchase and delivery, it would be amazing. Well, COLOR US AMAZED - and THANKFUL and GRATEFUL, because that wish was fulfilled this morning!

We just received a donation of 4 garbage cans, by Fed Ex, but Fed Ex didn't bring the garbage can lids with them. If anyone placed and order and received notice that the gift was delivered, can you contact them and let them know that Fed Ex didn't leave the lids?

A few weeks ago, we made a request for help with yard work. One fella and his girlfriend came and said they would do it for us

I didn’t realize their offer to help came as a barter. They came, with a kitten whose tail had been degloved. It cost us over $1,200 to get him vetted, and they worked for about an hour and left, never returned.
That was an expensive hour.

We also had made a request for people to help us with buying us galvanized garbage cans for us to keep the food dry and safe on the dogs lines. One person helped by purchasing us two cans, thank you Sarah Lott. The other offers came with a barter. “I will buy you a can if you take this litter of puppies”. “I will buy you a can, if you will take these six cats”
We are asking for help, because we are struggling and people genuinely are good and compassionate and understanding of how charity works.
Friends, I am old with health issues, I am attempting to weedeat our entrance because it is dangerous to pull out onto the West Mayes Speedway. (That damn David Archie had it repaved so now drivers go down it at 80 mph)

If anyone who does yardwork could come and offer up a bit of time, we would certainly appreciate it.

Update on Sherwood. That is what we named the cat with the horrific injury.
He came through surgery today with flying colors and is resting with the good meds.
Yesterday, I posted the wrong phone number to Luckney, for those who might have wanted to call in donations to his care. The correct number for the clinic is 601-992-3299

While we are shut down for intakes, we will make an exception if the situation is dire and an emergency.
Yesterday, we agreed to take this precious boy in who had no one else to help him. We are not sure if his leg got caught in a trap or some other nefarious activity caused him to lose his paw. He also has a bullet in his shoulder and a fracture in his spine. The fracture is healing already and he should get through that with cage rest and gentle handling.
HOWEVER. He is going to have to have his leg amputated, which is happening tomorrow at Luckney Animal Hospital.
If you are inclined, he (and we) could use your help getting him the medical care he needs.
