🐾🎃 HALLOWEEN FUN AT PETSMART!

Our pups had a wonderful day yesterday at PetSmart in Toms River! ❤️

A huge thank you to PetSmart for hosting us and to our amazing volunteers who chose to spend their Halloween with our dogs! 🥰

For our dogs currently in boarding, these outings mean SO much! A chance to get out, soak up some sunshine, relax, and meet lots of new people! ☀️🐶

And as you can see, they were pretty darn comfortable just lounging around and enjoying all the attention! 😂❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and give our pups some love! Hopefully, some forever families are just around the corner! 🏡🐾

🎃🍦 PUP CUPS & HALLOWEEN FUN! 🐾❤️

The Pup Cup Shop was officially OPEN for business today at PetSmart! 😂

Our amazing volunteer Kristen never misses an opportunity to spoil our pups, and today she even dressed the part in her adorable ice cream apron! 🍦🥰

Safe to say our four-legged customers gave her service FIVE STARS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A little whipped cream, a lot of happy faces, and plenty of love! ❤️🐾

💕🐾 LET’S OFFICIALLY WELCOME SUKI TO PITTIES & PALS RESCUE! 🐾💕

Another beautiful young girl who deserved so much better than the life she was given. 💔

Meet Suki! This adorable little peanut is estimated to be around 8 months old, and at just 35 pounds, she still has some much-needed weight to gain!

Sadly, Suki is another victim of starvation and neglect. The good news is that she actually managed to put on some weight during her stay at the animal control facility, and we can’t wait to see her continue to blossom! ❤️

And can we just talk about that FACE?! 😍 Those big eyes, floppy ears and sweet little expression are absolutely irresistible!

Suki is a sweet, friendly girl who has been doing GREAT with our volunteers! She’s enjoying the attention and getting out for her walks. She tested well with another dog, although she can get a little excited and barky when she sees dogs from a distance. Something we can certainly work on! 🐶

We have not observed any resource guarding, which is wonderful, especially considering how little food this girl has likely had in her short life.

Suki is up to date on her vaccinations and will be scheduled for spay surgery once she’s gained some more weight.

What we’d REALLY love is to get this little girl into a foster home! 🏡 She’s already making progress, but imagine how much more she could thrive with a comfy bed, regular meals, some structure and a family to shower her with love!

Suki has her whole life ahead of her, and we intend to make sure the rest of it is SO much better than the beginning! ❤️

❤️🐾 OFFICIALLY WELCOMING SABLE TO PITTIES & PALS RESCUE! 🐾❤️

Can we just talk about how ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS this girl is?! 😍 Those eyes, that coloring, those adorable ears! We are DYING to know what she’s mixed with because she is one unique-looking little lady!

Meet Sable, estimated to be just 8 months old and weighing only 37 pounds. Sadly, our girl is skin and bones and desperately needs to put on some much-needed weight. 💔 And let us tell you… SHE IS HUNGRY! 😂 She’s a little grabby when taking treats, but considering how underweight she is, can you really blame her?! We will absolutely be working on those manners!

Despite whatever her young life has looked like, Sable is incredibly sweet and friendly! ❤️ She tested okay with other dogs, although we are unable to cat test. We think a home with older children, preferably teenagers, would be best. We have observed no resource guarding.

Our girl is strong on leash, but our amazing volunteers are already working on her leash manners, and she even seems to know a few commands! She’s up to date on vaccinations and will be scheduled for her spay surgery once she has gained enough weight.

NOW HERE’S WHERE WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! 🙏 Sable is currently in boarding, and we would LOVE to get this young girl into a foster home! At just 8 months old, she deserves to be learning, playing, gaining weight and experiencing what life in a loving home is all about.

She’s young, she’s smart, she’s sweet, and she has SO much potential! She just needs someone willing to give her that chance. ❤️

🍪❤️ WELCOME TO PITTIES & PALS, COOKIE DOUGH! ❤️🐾

This little peanut has already been through SO much in her short life! 🥹💔

At just 8 months old, Cookie Dough weighs a measly 19 POUNDS! And trust us, pictures don’t even begin to show just how teeny tiny she really is!

Before joining us, Cookie Dough spent a day at the emergency hospital after our shelter partner rushed her in for medical attention. A HUGE thank you to Stephanie and her amazing team at RBARI for acting so quickly! ❤️

Thankfully, her f***l and parvo tests were negative, and X-rays showed no obstructions! 🙌 She’s responding well to medication, probiotics and prescription GI food. Once her tummy settles, we’ll work on getting some MUCH-NEEDED weight on this little girl!

And a HUGE shoutout to our VP Jeff and his wonderful wife Bethan! ❤️ Cookie Dough was originally headed to the kennel, but they decided to scoop her up and bring her HOME! 🥹

She enjoyed a peaceful night’s sleep, did her potty business outside and even spent the day at work with Jeff! 😂❤️

Cookie Dough has received her vaccines but is currently too underweight to be spayed. We’ll schedule her surgery once she’s healthy enough.

🏡 COOKIE DOUGH IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME!

We cannot WAIT to watch this tiny girl blossom and get the happy ending she deserves! 🍪💕
