Are you ready to add double the fun, energy, and love to your home? Meet Coco and Caloy! This dynamic duo are 1-year-old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped!

These two boys are incredibly outgoing, playful, and full of youthful energy! They are the ultimate entertainers who love to race around the house, wrestle, and chase down every toy in sight. When they are finally tuckered out from their zoomies, they are sweet boys ready for head scratches and cuddles.

Looking for a new adventure buddy this summer? Jeffrey is ready to pack his bags and head home with you!

If he looks familiar, you might be seeing double. Jeffrey could be Jefe’s twin with his handsome coloring, sturdy build, and lovable personality. But this sweet guy is still waiting for a family to call his own.

At around 2 years old, Jeffrey is smart, eager to learn, and always excited to earn a tasty treat. He already knows sit, touch, and down, and he’s ready to keep building his skills with someone who enjoys training and having fun together.

Jeffrey is a strong, active young dog who thrives with structure, guidance, and a job to do. He would do best as the only pet in the home with no cats, dogs, or children.

Behind those big shepherd ears is an incredibly sweet, gentle soul who just wants a chance. While summer days are made for backyard games, long walks, and sunshine-filled adventures, Jeffrey is still spending his days waiting in a kennel.

💙 RESCUED 💙

And another little boy has safely left the Shelter! Sam, our adorable little Boston Terrier was quickly scooped up by our wonderful Rescue partner Tuxedo Hearts Boston Terrier Rehoming & Rescue!

Thank you once again to Judy and everyone at Tuxedo Hearts Boston Terrier Rescue for immediately answering our plea for help for Sam and again thank you to his wonderful foster family for opening up their hearts and their home to another pup in need.

Meet Winnie, an 8 month old bundle of sunshine who is ready to make this summer her best one yet! 🐾💛

This happy girl is full of puppy charm and is always up for an adventure. Whether it’s a morning walk, a backyard game, a trip for pup cups, or simply soaking up the sunshine with her favorite people, Winnie is ready to be your sidekick.

Winnie passed all of her assessments and enjoys other dogs. Like any young pup, she has plenty of energy and is still working on her manners, but she’s eager to learn and loves being part of the action.

The shelter recommends children over 12 and caution with cats.

💙🐾 RESCUED 💙🐾

We are very happy to announce that our senior gentleman Chubby has left the Shelter and is now settling into his new loving foster home!!

We owe a very big thank you to our newest Rescue partner Mid-Atlantic Chinese Shar-Pei Rescue Operation (MACSPRO) for helping Chubby safely out of the Shelter. Thank you to Betty and her entire team and of course to Chubby’s wonderful fosters, Michelle and Pete for opening up their hearts and their home to this gentle soul.

🎉🎉🎉 NORTH IS FREEEEEEEE! 🎉🎉🎉

After waiting, wondering, and cheering him on from the sidelines, North has officially walked out of the shelter and into his next chapter! ❤️

This handsome boy was adoptable and had an incident occur that left him needing a rescue to step up on his behalf. We knew he deserved that chance, and thanks to an incredible team effort, North got exactly that.

A huge thank you to Pitties & Pals Rescue for being the bridge North needed. Special thanks to volunteer rescue coordinator Kathleen, who couldn’t stop talking about what a wonderful dog he is. She bragged about him so much that her family fell in love with him before they even met him! 🥹

For the weekend, North is enjoying some much deserved downtime with Pitties & Pals founder Donna before heading to his foster home on Monday. Fun fact: Pitties & Pals was born because Donna volunteered here at Jackson years ago. ❤️🐾

North’s journey isn’t over. He still has some medical needs to work through, including allergies, and he’ll need time to decompress and adjust after shelter life. But today isn’t about the challenges ahead.

Today is about freedom.

Today is about hope.

Today is about everyone who walked him, cleaned up after him, advocated for him, loved him, worried about him, and never gave up on him.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in getting North to this moment. Every share, every walk, every kind word, every ounce of support mattered.

Thank you to his new foster family for opening your home and heart to this special boy.

Run free, sweet boy. The next chapter starts now. ❤️🐾

Ready and waiting for you! Every pet adopted out is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and has received a general health exam by the facility veterinarian, all included with your adoption fee of $55 for cats or $60 for dogs!

Shelter hours for meets and adoptions are 1:00-4:00 daily (excluding holidays).
