Today was also a VERY special day for one of our boarders/student who's been with us many years. One who we've got to see grow up throughout all of the years. We would like to wish Adriana a big happy 16th birthday! ( Yes, we're a few days early but the surprise was given today). It has been a privilege to watch Adriana grow up through all of these years and grow into one kick butt equestrian! They have been the proud owners of Ares and keawe for many many years and with Ares reaching his well deserved show retirement it was time for Adriana to level up with a new mount. We are proud to congratulate Adriana and her family on the adoption of our beloved rescue Clover! Clover has been a farm favorite since we rescued her in March 2021, everyone has watched her grow up, get broken to ride by me, she's done camp, shows lessons, and now she is on to her final chapter which was finding her perfect rider and she absolutely did with Adriana 💓 we couldn't be more proud and we are so incredibly happy for both of you! Best part is Clover will join their family on our farm and everyone can watch them grow together as a team! Congratulations you guys, we could not be happier!!!
Here's to many miles and many smiles together.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day for our land of misfit horses game show!! It was a fantastic time with everyone and we can't wait until the next one! Hi everyone from baby Penny ❤️ someone got her vet visit today from Dr. Landis and she was a super star! Her blood work all came back perfect, someone is super healthy and strong! She showed Dr. Landis how fast she can run around and how she loves to nurse. She gets her next check up tomorrow same as her momma Lady who also was a goodish girl for her checkup minus not liking her temp being taken. So incredibly blessed this all went so well and I've got a healthy momma and baby.
Love you to the moon and back already Penny 💕

Our miracle baby officially made her appearance!!! Kill pen Standardbred rescue Hoosier Jackie aka Lady had her baby!! A big BEAUTIFUL filly that we have named Penny! She is up, actively walking around, pooping and nursing like a pro! We are so thrilled and happy beyond words! This baby is already so loved just like her momma! Welcome to the world Penny! Stay tuned for updates on momma and baby!

Tonight was an absolutely amazing night for our boarders barn party hosted by our absolutely amazing barn owner and his partner. We are almost 10 years strong and tonight was a great time reflecting on all the special memories we've made at the farm over these past years. I'd like to thank our amazing boarder family (missing a few of y'all because of work) for coming out tonight and we want to wish Sharon a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂🎈. Thank you all for these special memories and we can't wait to make many many more years of memories to come! Stay tuned for our farm family with all our lesson families party coming up this summer too! Thank you all for making the team misfits family so special ❤️

Due to the extreme heat wave we will be resuming lessons once the heatwave breaks for the safety of our horses, riders and staff! Please stay in and stay cool the best you can over the next few days. Real feel of 110 is extremely bad. To our boarders, your horses will get hosed down multiple times throughout the day to help keep them cool!

Disciplines he enjoys: trail riding, hunter paces, will ride around the ring English or Western. Seen the games but not finished on them, seen some jumps and doesn't mind them but not recommended for hard core jumping.
He rides off property as well in shows, trails etc. He is a quirky boy who does best with a confident capable rider who is firm when needed as he is a thick boy and knows his size. He is comfortable to ride and goes gait at a slow jog but will trot and canter normally when asked! He is a big boy capable of carrying larger riders as well. For more information please send the page a message. He is available for full or half lease. He would LOVE a rider who wants to enjoy exploring the woods with him!
