🍁🦃 Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the clinic! 🦃🍁

We hope your day is filled with good food, warm memories, and lots of cuddles from your four-legged family members. 🧡 But while you’re enjoying the feast, here’s a friendly reminder of Thanksgiving foods your pets should NOT snack on:

🚫 Turkey bones – splinter easily and can be dangerous
🚫 Onions, garlic, & chives – toxic to cats and dogs
🚫 Stuffing – often contains onions or seasonings
🚫 Grapes & raisins – highly toxic
🚫 Chocolate & desserts – unsafe (and too tempting!)
🚫 Yeast dough – can cause serious stomach issues
🚫 Alcohol – even small amounts are harmful

If you’d like to share a safe treat, stick to plain turkey meat, green beans, pumpkin, or their regular pet food/treats. 🐾

An unknown respiratory illness is affecting dogs across the United States. 🐶🦠

Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, eye and nasal discharge, lethargy, decreased appetite. These symptoms can last weeks! If your dog is experiencing any of these symptoms please isolate them and call us to make an appointment. 🩺📞

Below are some recommendations to help reduce the risks of canine respiratory exposure and illness.

We recommend… ✅
-Making sure your pet is up to date on all vaccines including Bordetella and Canine Influenza. 💉
-When possible, avoid situations dogs are in close contact (dog parks, dog daycare, boarding, grooming).
-Ask your groomer and boarding facilities if they require all pets be up to date on all vaccinations.
