Today is bittersweet. But...
IT’S OFFICIAL!!!! As of today, myself and the existing Board have resigned and a new group of wonderful, hard-working rescue allies in MS have been elected to serve as the new Board of Directors. Many dogs and puppies, a few cats and even 4 baby skunks were saved through DARE. I worked hard to establish it and maintain a rigorous and respectable rescue. The future of DARE is now in the hands of people probably more qualified than myself lol. The best thing I could do for DARE and the many Mississippi animals needing help was to pass the torch to Mississippi rescuers. Here’s to the thousands of animals that will continue to be saved thanks to their efforts. I will be shutting down this page soon and have appreciated everyone that has helped and followed my rescues over the years. Send love to the new team as they embark on a new journey. ❤️

Happy Holidays Friends!!! Delta Animal Rescue Extension Services, the nonprofit I established in May 2015, has been dormant since my relocation to AL in 2017. As President, I have been in contact with the MS Secretary of State about the process and what paperwork and documents are required to resign the existing board of directors and have a new board take over. There is no use in having a nonprofit if it’s sitting dormant when these MS Delta animals need help so bad! Please stay tuned and the future of DARE Services will hopefully be revealed soon! ❤️

Murphy needs us! 485 people have liked this rescue page. If only 100 of them donated $20, we can get Murphy the help he needs! Only $75 collected so far that we are very grateful for! But that will not put a dent in his medical. He's heavy heartworm positive and will require extensive treatment to get him well at his age. Doesn't he deserve a chance to finally get better and live his remaining time feeling well and being shown love? Hi everyone! I know I haven't posted here in...well, forever! But working different job with longer hours has been hard! Mainly I post on my personal page simply because I have more rescue contacts there. I feel that many of the new views are from the fundraiser for Animals of Grenada Rescue. YES!!! We are trying to get these ladies set up as IRS approved 501c3!! If anyone has any questions about the process or DARE Service, feel free to message! You can also view my personal page. Hi everyone! I know we haven't posted here in FOREVER! Rescue is never-ending and most times I usually post on my personal page. I see lots of new notifications that people have viewed this page. That's great! We are in the works to raise the funds needed to apply for 501c3 status for fellow rescue friends in Grenada MS. These ladies are amazing and all they have besides the shelter there. Please help us finish our goal! We're so close! And stay tuned...I hope to pick back up and get to posting here regularly! Thank you all!
