We have some really unfortunate news folks. We have indeed sold the pet store. A decision that has devastated us and wasn’t taken lightly. We have done everything we can possibly do in order to make the store into a nice place to shop. Despite our best efforts we just can’t progress it any further due to unforeseen financial constraints. Ever since the fire at our restaurant back in January it has really put us in a tight spot. It has been a dream of mine to own a pet shop & an absolute honor to serve our customers. It was awesome giving Jackson another choice.
We were met with a lot of push back & aggression from certain folks in this line of work here but we kept pushing on. We kept trying to make it a great place to come shop & ignore all of the unnecessary noise. I guess I could sum it up as I don’t understand why businesses can’t support other businesses & why we don’t want more jobs/businesses in our community. All I will say is becareful where you spend your hard earned money. Spend it with people who support others in your community & spend with folks who want to see the community grow not with people who try to stop other businesses from coming/being here.
We cannot thank our Manager Emmaleigh Jones & our cashier Katelyn Sewell enough for all that they have done for us here. They have really done a great job taking care of our animals. They truly have a love for them. They have worked really hard to keep the store clean & the environment healthy. They have been the backbone of our store. Even though I thought we had more time the sale is affective immediately. As of now the store will not reopen.
We realize that this may cause an inconvenience to our customers and we apologize greatly for that. Thank you SES & Mrs Thomas for allowing us the opportunity to give the kiddos a great opportunity to see and interact with our critters. That was one of our biggest highlights for our time here. We greatly appreciate every single person that has ever stepped foot in our store. Thank you for allowing us to serve you for as long as we could. None of you ever will be forgotten.
Thank you & God Bless,
Uncle Ben
