Update: Glader and Saphira have found a home together. Thank you to everyone who shared our post. Brisinger is still awaiting his forever family. We are looking for a forever home. Meet Brisingr, Glader and Saphira. Due to unforseen medical developments, our owners have to move and they can not take us with them. We are all friendly. We have lived with other cats and dogs-Great Danes. We are spayed, neutered, declawed and up to date on vaccines. We are taking donations to provide help and hope to those affected by Hurricane Helene. We have family in Asheville North Carolina and the devastation is unfathomable. Below is a list of items needed. Please feel free to drop donations off at the clinic up until Thursday October 17 at noon. Donations will be taken to our families church and distributed directly to those in need. Thank you in advance. Together we can make a difference.

Cleaning supplies: Clorox wipes, bleach, multi surface cleaner, disinfectant, pine sol, Damp Rid, paper towels, brooms, mops, laundry soap, shop towels, trash bags large and kitchen size, Dawn dish soap, rubber and plastic gloves, sponges.

Clothing: Men's clothes especially, work boots, work gloves, socks, coats-all sizes. Men's rubber boots.

Hygiene products: hand soap, shampoo, tooth paste, tooth brushes
feminine supplies,

Household items: lighters, matches, candles, batteries, flash lights. Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, Band Aids, fold up camping chairs, blankets, can opener. Bug spray, wasp/hornet spray.
Non perishable food items: canned foods-pull top-soups, tuna fish, baked beans, veggies, fruit, meats, peanut butter, powdered milk, condensed milk, instant coffee, protein bars, Kool Aid, Flavored Water Additives, snacks-pop tarts, fruit snacks, granola bars, cereal, oatmeal, crackers, drink boxes, Fruit Cups, applesauce, water bottles and gallons

Baby Items: Diapers, wipes, formula, baby food-no glass, throw blankets. bottles and ni***es

Kids Items: Coloring books, crayons markers, battery operated hand games, cards, air mattresses and pumps, sleeping bags.

Paper products: paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, bowls, silver wear.

Pet Food: dog, cat, chicken/bird, horse, goat. Vet wrap.

Other: Bar and chain saw oil, chainsaw blades 14-36 in, tow straps, True Fuel, 530 synthetic oil, small green can propane tanks, 5 gallon buckets, construction tools. Plastic Totes for transporting items and for people to keep clean clothes and food in.

The Clinical Pathology section is located in the Veterinary Medical Center on the main MSU campus. All other laboratory sections are in the MSU VDL facility located south of the main campus.

Lilly is a beautiful approx 8 year old dilute tortoiseshell spayed female looking for a home. Lilly is declawed in the front. Lilly needs a special home with modifications. She has so much love to give she needs to be the only pet in the household. She would like a quiet home with minimal commotion as she is stressed easily. Lilly also has special needs with dietary food as she has a sensitive stomach. We currently have her on W/U by blue buffalo and she is handling that well and needs to stay on that diet. She also needs a LARGE EXPANSIVE litter box as she is a princess and will not use a small box because she might get dirty feet.
She is a lovable girl that thrives for attention!!!!

We are hiring. We are looking to add another member to our team. We are a single Dr practice located in south Jackson. We are seeking a full time veterinary assistant interested in expanding their skills and knowledge. Punctuality, time management, attention to detail, flexability and communication skills are essential. Experience preferred but we are willing to train an individual that fits our practices needs. Requirements: Must be 21 or older, be able to pass a background check, lift 30 pounds, have reliable transportation and proficient in basic computer skills. Job Tasks: Assisting doctor in the examination rooms with patients and clients. Assisting technicians with animals for for minor procedures and surgical preparations. Assisting with patient care-feeding, medicating and comfort care. Restraining animals for vaccinations and general procedures. Entering client information and billing into the computer. Filling and dispensing prescriptions. ClIent education and routine call backs. Processing laboratory samples and performing in house lab procedures. Other duties as applicable.
