Hi guys!! I am still on vacation, but I wanted to reiterate something.

❗WE DO NOT OFFER WALK INS❗

My boyfriend has experienced several people while I'm away coming to our house for walk in haircuts. We are APPOINTMENT ONLY. Even nail trims need to be semi-scheduled.

Please do not come to our house unannounced. When there is not a scheduled appointment going on, it is our private home and we would like to maintain this work/life balance. Our sign also says "Appointment Only".

This is going to be our last post until after our June 6-17 closure!

❗Currently, we are booked until June 28 with only 2 more weekend appointments before July 4. If you want to get your pet in before any 4th of July celebrations, now is the time to book❗

I will be updating my voicemail message to reflect this, but I would like to add here: if you call and do not leave a voicemail or text, I more than likely *will not* call you back due to spam calls. I do check numbers to see if it was from a current client and will call those back even if no message was left. But for new clients, please leave a message so I know you're not a scammer 🙂. Thank you!

And as for calling back, I am a one man business (my boyfriend helps, but he doesn't know how to schedule appointments or things like that), and I do not answer the phone when working on an animal unless it is the owner. I do try to call back same day, but sometimes when my appointments are back to back, it's hard to find time! Thank you for understanding.

Unfortunately, there are no more openings for full services before our closure June 6-17. After we reopen, we have a spot for a bath on June 22, but don't have any multi-dog or haircut spots until June 27.

Next available day after reopening is Saturday, June 22nd.

Thank you for understanding our closure and being supportive! I moved to Michigan in March 2021 from Washington state, and this will be my first time visiting home since moving 😊.

This Friday will also be our last time at the Grand River Farmers Market before our closure! Unfortunately we cannot make it next week due to a preexisting appointment.

This week's pups! . . . Minus a few that I forgot to get pictures of 👀

‼️‼️I have about 4 spots left before I go out of state from June 6 - 17.‼️‼️
Unfortunately, these spots likely can't accommodate a large dog haircut or two dog families (possibly can do an outline trim like a golden retriever or two dog simple baths).

After my trip, I am booked until June 22 currently. Now is the time to schedule for summer desheds and haircuts!!

Some videos for you!

For the first video, I walk you through how to bathe your own dog. Included are some tips on how to save on product, deshed some coat types in the bath, and how to safely wash their face. All products used were Tropiclean since this brand is very accessible and is great for home use (and professional!).

For the second video, there is no talking, but I instead show you how I professionally bathe the dogs using bathing aids such as the car wash nozzle and shampoo frothing bottle. These tools let me lather dogs a lot faster and significantly save on product since I am maximizing their dilution capabilities. I used Hyponic since that is the shampoo I use on the majority of dogs. I love the shampoo, but it is harder to come by for home use and definitely costs a lot more than Tropiclean. I do not brush Remy in the bath because his coat type doesn't benefit from it, in my experience.

Also, yes we will try to be better with the camera as we get more practice lol. These videos are more like practice runs and I don't have a proper recording setup yet☠️

And it's time for your yearly PSA that shaving double coats will not cool off your dog 😉. There is nothing that will save your dog from high temperature, high humidity weather besides shelter and water.

Don't forget to visit us at Grand River Farmers Market again this Friday! If you don't follow them already, please make sure to follow their official page so you can receive updates on what all vendors and special guests will be there.

We will be there this week from 9 to ~12:15pm. Bring your dog for a nail trim, schedule a full service appointment, or just chat with us!

Exciting news!!! We will be providing walk-in services at the Grand River Farmers Market again this year! We are so thankful for this opportunity and cannot wait.

We intend on being at the farmer's market every Friday. Unfortunately, this Friday we can only be there for a few hours due to preexisting appointments. There will be a few hiccups like that for the first few weeks, but we should be smooth sailing after that!

Whether you want to visit us for a nail trim, talk to us in-person about making an appointment, or just bring your dog by to say hi, just find the purple grooming table!
