I don’t do this often enough at least not publicly. But I want to brag on these two young men. I am so thankful that God has placed these two in my life and I am humbled that they represent me when they leave the kennel.

This time last year Scout didn’t want to retrieve anything. A duck a live pigeon a bumper NOTHIN. and scout Through dedication and perseverance not only got a senior title this weekend but scout was excited to go do it.
norris.2 and Sprig the springer got their junior title this weekend. Unfortunately sprig trumped that accomplishment very quickly by running test dog at senior. Not only did he hammer the marks and blind on the land series and the water series but he ran a water blind that the judges deemed too difficult and changed after he completed it.

I am very blessed to have a front row seat to this journey and I’m excited for the next chapter!!!

We have added 11 new kennels specifically designed for obedience training. We are offering a special introductory price of $1200 per month for board and train services. Prices will increase once all kennels are occupied.

With a decade of success and expertise in training for retriever sports, we would be delighted to help your dog become a happy and productive member of your household. Don’t worry; we are not going to train your dog and turn you loose without training you first. We will keep you updated on your pup’s progress and provide bi-weekly hands-on training sessions at no extra charge until you are satisfied with the teamwork you and your pup achieve.

We have big news here at Hurricane Ridge Retrievers!

We have upgraded a lot and have 11 new indoor/outdoor kennels with 8 airing yards. Those 11 kennels are going to be primarily for obedience training. We will be offering 1 and 2 month board and train packages. The first month will be for basic on lead obedience and 2nd month will be off lead obedience and any advanced behaviors you would like.

We have a decade of successful training and competing experience in the retriever community and have many client references available. We are going to be offering a “grand opening” special price. The first 10 dogs will receive the 2 months board and train package at 1200 dollars a month. After those first 10 dogs are in kennels prices will then become 1500 a month. We are excited about helping your dog become a productive member of your household. Please call or send us a dm or fill out the application on our website! HURRICANE RIDGE IS GROWING!

We are looking to fill 3 new positions.

The first two positions we need to fill are evening kennel technicians. 20 hrs a week. Job duties will include taking care of and watching dogs. Feeding dogs, cleaning kennels and picking up p**p. Must provide own transportation. Attention to detail is a must. Pay based on experience. But no experience needed.

Social media guru/utility guy/girl this is a full time/salary position. MUST BE SELF MOTIVATED!!!!
Some Experience in photography/videography is required. A love for the outdoors is highly recommended as well as willingness to travel in hunting season. This individual will have plenty of dedicated time each day for social media management and photo/video editing(we have all camera/editing equipment necessary).The other responsibilities will include general property maintenance and throwing birds. Pay based on experience.

We went to OVRC to run some dogs in some tests this weekend. The Junior crew showed up and was perfect for the weekend going 12/12. The one senior dog we ran had a little trouble being steady. And Annie was 1 of 8 dogs to get a Master Ribbon.
