Jackson County Animal Protection Society Our mission is to protect and prevent cruelty and neglect of animals & find them loving homes.

JCAPS is a 501c3 charitable organization founded by volunteer community members with the goals of establishing an animal shelter facility for Jackson County. We are currently foster based and only able to rescue a limited quantity of animals at a time. In August of 2021, our board members opened a small pet supply shop called "A Pet's Tale" located at 313 2nd Street, Jackson, MN. This was established as a means of fundraising for a shelter building.

Meet the newest addition to JCAPS adoptable kids. Nova has been living in an apartment in Jackson; but would love to find a home with a nice yard to run around in; perhaps some children, kitty or puppy friends to play with.

She is scheduled for surrender tonight at 5. We will be getting her vaccinations up-to-date & she will be excited to meet some potential adopters! If you'd like to schedule a meeting with Nova. Don't hesitate to reach out!
