🐾 A Little Dog Dasher Scheduling Update! 💙
With fall quickly approaching and our family getting ready to welcome our newest little member, I wanted to share a few important scheduling and availability updates for the remainder of 2026! 🥰
🐾 NEW BOARDING & DAYCARE CLIENTS
Beginning September 1st, I’ll be temporarily pausing acceptance of new Boarding & Daycare clients. All of my remaining Meet & Greet and Trial Day availability before September 1st has officially been filled! 🥹
If we haven’t already completed the new-client process, I unfortunately won’t be able to get your pup established before my maternity leave. I’m currently planning to begin accepting new Boarding & Daycare clients again after I return around April 2027! 💙
🐾 CURRENT CLIENTS
I’m still here!! 😂💙 Established clients are absolutely still welcome to reach out for Boarding, Daycare and Drop-In Visits through December 20th, based on availability!
As of right now, September and October are fully booked! Please don’t let that stop you from reaching out if you need care during those months though! Schedules change, cancellations happen, and I’m always happy to check and see if anything has opened up or if I can possibly work your pup in. 🥰
As always, availability is never guaranteed, so please reach out as soon as you know your dates!
🐾 A QUICK BOARDING REMINDER
I also wanted to clarify something about Boarding as we head into the remainder of the year! The Dog Dasher provides small-scale, in-home Boarding, but Boarding is not a 24/7 constant-supervision service.
While boarding pups spend lots of time with me throughout their stay, there will occasionally be times when I need to step away from home for other Dog Dasher visits/walks, errands, appointments, or family/personal time. 💙 All pups are safely settled before I leave, and I always make sure they receive plenty of potty, play and attention around my time away!
Because of this, Boarding pups need to be comfortable safely resting while I’m away and must be crate trained unless we have already discussed and approved a different arrangement for your individual dog. 🐾
I always do my best to communicate any unusually long planned time away that may affect a Boarding reservation before confirming it, so you can decide whether my setup is the right fit for your pup! 💙
🐾 DROP-IN VISITS
I will still consider a limited number of new Drop-In Visit clients Monday through Friday only, based on location, timing and my existing schedule.
Going forward, I will not be accepting new weekend Drop-In clients. My weekends have become increasingly busy with Boarding and existing client commitments, so I need to keep those days a little more protected! 💙
🩷 MATERNITY LEAVE
My official maternity leave will begin December 20th! I’m currently planning to remain closed through approximately April 2027.
If everything goes smoothly and we settle into our new routine sooner, I may begin easing back into limited services before then, but I don’t want to make any promises until our little girl is here and we see what our new normal looks like! 🥰🩷
💻 WEBSITE UPDATE
One more little housekeeping note! My website is currently not fully up to date with some of the changes I’ve made to my services, requirements and availability. I’ll be working on giving it a much-needed update, so you may see some changes while it’s under construction! 🥰
In the meantime, for the most current information, please reach out to me directly, check the pinned posts here on The Dog Dasher page, or refer to my current Introduction Form, which contains my most up-to-date requirements and policies. 💙
If you ever see something on the website that seems different from information I’ve given you directly or what is listed on my current forms, please don’t hesitate to ask!
🐾 THANK YOU! 🥹💙
I genuinely wish there were more hours in the day because I HATE having to tell anyone that I don’t have room! 😭 The Dog Dasher has grown into more than I ever imagined, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single family who continues to trust me with their babies. 💙
These changes are simply me making sure I don’t stretch myself too thin and that the pups already in my care continue receiving the time, attention and quality of care they deserve, while also making room for this exciting new chapter for our family. 🥹
Thank you all SO much for the love, support and understanding! The Dog Dasher isn’t going anywhere! We’re just making a little room for one tiny new member of the pack! 🐾🩷
