Rank Equine Performance Horses is what we are about. We breed quality performance horses and get them ready to c I have really enjoyed caring for and training horses.

Chasing dreams with passion and dedication has been a very worthwhile challenge. Growing in confidence while improving skills has been the ingredients to my happy life. I am happiest running top speed while tightly turning barrels and racing in for a new personal best time. So, we decided to open a new facility. We are naming it Rank Equine. When I say we, I am referring to my always supportive parents, Lance and Donna Rankin. The name Rank is short for Rankin, but we chose the name for an even better reason. We know our horses will Rank at the top of the heap when they get out into the performance world. The new ranch will be located out near Jacksboro, Texas on Hwy 281. You can see our Contact Us Page for the Google Map. This is a new project and ground breaking will begin on July 12, 2022. It will most likely move slower than I would like, but we will build a great facility to breed, board, train, and care for performance horses.

To the high school and college rodeo athletes: the clock is running. ⏱️

Between classes, practices, rodeos, and everything else — your barrel racing has to be efficient and intentional. You don't have time to waste on training that doesn't move the needle.

Lexi Rankin gets it. She's been there. At Rank Equine, she coaches student athletes with a training approach built for busy schedules and big goals.

To the barrel racing moms out there: 🐴💙

You drive the hours. You haul the horse. You cheer from the alley. You watch your daughter light up at the pattern and you know — this is worth it.

Rank Equine partners with barrel racing families to develop young riders who aren't just competitive, but confident. Lexi coaches the whole rider — mindset, horsemanship, and pattern work — because all three matter.

If your daughter is ready to grow, we're ready for her.

Rank Equine tune-ups are perfect for:
✅ Horses that have gotten sloppy on the pattern
✅ Competition horses between big runs
✅ Horses that need a confidence boost
✅ Riders who want an honest, expert assessment

Barrel racing isn't just a sport. For the right kid, it's a lifeline. 💙

Lexi Rankin built Rank Equine on a belief that horses and this sport have the power to shape character, build confidence, and give young girls something to work toward that is bigger than themselves.

Every youth rider who walks through our gate gets more than a lesson. They get a coach who has been where they are — and who believes in what they're capable of.

This is our why. What's yours? Drop it in the comments 👇
