I am a devoted animal lover and was raised with dogs, cats and horses since I was a young girl. I do not remember a time when my home was not filled with pets; this is where my love of animals began. My husband says that I am in my element when I watch God's furry creatures. I am very blessed to do this. Lola has been declining for the last few days. Today she was ready to run free at the rainbow bridge🌈I brought her home in late October of 2013 from the Bonham animal shelter. She was 17 years old and had a beautiful life with Steve and I. Tears are pouring down my face as I write this 😭😢

At dusk I walk to the chicken coop and clean up for the girls and walk the perimeter to make sure there aren’t any holes being dug. The client has done a fantastic job laying hardware cloth and other critter protection but I still like to check. She has broken up cement pieces and I laid them down where a hole was trying to be dug.
Then I make sure the girls are ready for bed and snug as a bug in a rug with closing some enclosures.
