Puppies arrived on Sunday!

We are thrilled to announce the birth of the Mouse x Talus litter, Sugar Rush Sneaky Little Houseguest x Aurai Angel’s Landing.

Mouse is owned by Abigail Curtis and Roxy Gieroski, and bred by Roxy Gieroski.

It was a long weekend (of course a holiday!) with the first five pups born at home here on Yellow Barn Hill over the day on Sunday, and the last two born at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals late Sunday night / Monday morning. No pups were stuck. Talus was just wiped out after a long labor with good sized pups, a labor that started (stage one) on Sat afternoon.

All pups and momma are healthy and we are catching up on sleep.

Seven pups with five girls and two boys ❤️

Thank you to the Theriogenology folks at Cornell for taking such good care of Talus and all her pups. Thank you to daughter Claire for getting dirty (!) and to Lori Hill and Jim for supporting roles and emotional support!!

They are adjustable but are sized to fit Windsprites and similar size dogs. Most are 1.5”. The pics of the 1” collars are oriented differently and are labeled as such.

If you see one you like and are coming to the show I can have Claire bring it along (to save on postage).

1.5” are $16 while the 1” are $13.

Great news!!! Talus had an ultrasound at Cornell yesterday and is confirmed to be pregnant ❤️ . She will approach the watermelon stage over the next several weeks, with pups expected on or near May 24.

From these results, the litter is predicted to be large so we might possibly have a puppy or two still available. Email me if you would like to be considered ([email protected]).

Another April Aurai Birthday ❤️

Aela and the rest of the Aurai Family would like to wish a very happy 5th birthday to the “Adirondacks” litter (Blue Mist Ben Solo “Kylo Ren” x Stone House Pierce Your Heart at Aurai “Aela”). These pups were born on Easter Sunday on April 12, 2020 just after the pandemic began. This litter was a bright spot that spring for everyone, including my genetics students on Zoom who were treated to some puppy screen time after every lecture!
