On April 28, I was sitting in the Orlando airport ready to come home after a fantastic weekend. •This• is when the news broke to me about the heartbreaking tradegy & scandal caused by Eternity Pet Memorial.
For those that know me, my dogs are my whole world.
MALA was my first dog. Mala shared many of life’s firsts with me. But most importantly, she was my rock. Through life’s ups and downs, she was always there for comfort, support and unconditional love.
I received confirmation •Mala WAS NOT cremated•
It has been hard to comprehend that. Hard to know that she was thrown away like garbage, and I do not have her remains.
Mala deserved more than that. All of the victims and their families deserved more than that. We trusted they were in good hands.
Since the news has broke, I’ve read countless stories shared my others filled with hurt, anger, and guilt.
It was extremely hard for me to make this video. It terrifies me to speak on camera, let alone be vulnerable. But at the end of the day, it’s not about me. It’s about my dog. It’s about the people who are suffering •every•single•day• It’s about honoring and remembering, raising awareness, and seeking justice.
It is not uncommon for events to recognize people. So why not us? I envision a stadium of lights, each one in recognition of those lost. ~PLEASE HELP THIS VIDEO REACH Jelly Roll & Post Malone~ They come to our city May 29th.
