For the foreseeable future, I am closing the farm down. Life just happens, maybe I will start it back up again in the coming years. But not right now.

Thank you for everyone who has made the last 9 years ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!
Please don’t hesitate to ask me questions. I will still answer. And if I can’t answer then I’ll find someone who does.

Stay tuned though, I might have some stuff available in the next few weeks.

I know I have not responded to everyone and it is probably upsetting y’all. But y’all have to understand, I am working on health problems. I think we finally got rid of the fox issue. And he wiped out a lot of my rescue boys that roam the yard. So!! I will open up rooster drop off sometime this fall. It will be for 2 weeks only. I have to get things fixed here before I feel safe to open up again. So at the moment! I’m not accepting drop offs. Don’t worry!! I will be back! Just be patient!!! And we will be better tha we were!!!

I know I have been quiet. I know my messenger is overloaded. We have been dealing with a Fox so I have lost several birds. Which is also why I haven’t taken in any birds lately. But we are working to fix the problems so I can get back out. I miss everyone so much!!

I’m sorry guys. I know I was supposed to be back up and running but we are delayed again. I am not going anywhere. We are working on upgrading things around in the yard. And getting the goats fence together. But, I will start posting updates again. I hate to not be out and about in my world of chickens and ducks.. but, this is south bigger! 🙂

Goose hatched 3 babies. So, I gave her the rest of the baby ducks. Lol!

Operation baby duck rescue underway while I was cooking dinner.
My boys LOVE me so much! They did this in the rain!! Somehow their brooder door came open and those of you who have ducks know they are stupid and very forward thinking. Well, all 7 dropped out of their brooder. 🤦‍♀️ they are all warm and safe now.

While we are on hold until May. We are actively hatching…
Pekin ducks, Pekin/mixes, BBS Ameraucana, Mille Fleur Cochin bantam, Easter Egger and the Mille Fleur DUccle bantam and Black Orpington have chimed in! So, we will have grow outs and chicks available this summer!

Rhode island reds, barred rocks orphingtons Americana Easter Eggers and white rocks. Hatching about 100 per week for the last two months. Several hundred more in the incubators.

Guys… I am really working to get things flowing smoothly again here. It has taken much longer than I anticipated. on top of the 50 projects I have going on as well as now I am coaching my sons soccer team!

Ok guys! I am so sorry! We have gotten a really really late start to the season (thanks to birds who refused to lay and fertility issues). We may have solved our issues and are now moving forward with our season!

I am setting eggs now FINALLY!!! Here is what we have in the incubator. I set by the dozen, but these are more half dozen sets bc I am just trying to catch up at this moment.

PLEASE text MESSAGE ME, I have a hard time answering my phone right now bc I am working a lot on top of getting the farm moving again. I am so backed up with my messages. I just am trying to not get overwhelmed. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO MY HOUSE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. I am adjusting my hours and figuring this stuff out. So bear with me.
